  • @KolbeTheKing Well, we don't really look alike...at all...she's a tall curvy black woman and I'm a short skinny white chick...so if you prefer the former, then I guess no, I don't...haha. though I believe beauty (and talent) comes in all shapes and sizes. ;-)

  • Tisha Campbell also played Jay in My Wife and Kids

  • Tisha Campbell, & Tachina Arnold (Played Gina & Pam on the Sitcom "Martin" in later years) They both very young here!

  • Is the woman in the middle the actress who plays Gina on the TV show Martin?

  • @PinkPotatoChip Yup. And one the girl on her left plays her best friend Pam on the show

  • I am playing Chiffon in a show that opens in two weeks.

  • Putting this play on in April 2012 can't wait

  • She must shatter glass at orgasm with that voice.

  • suffers voice is FREAKING ANNOYING

  • best musical ever i am singing the main song tonight for my choir concert wish me luck

  • So addicted to this musical. Always wanted to play Audrey. Don't think they'd cast an Asian as a dizzy blonde though.

  • "Directed by Frank Oz"

    YODA!!!

  • @rhinnawi95 What?

  • @purplesnozzberries He was the voice and puppeteer behind Yoda from Star Wars.

  • @rhinnawi95 Oh did not make that connection I went the Wizard of Oz route and got confused.

  • One day I will open Little Shop of Horrors.

  • lol pam & gina

  • my school did a production of this a few months ago

  • I just saw my school's production of this, and got curious and looked this up. I've only seen this part of the movie, and I intend to watch the whole thing, but at the moment, here's my thoughts. Everyone is really good, except Audrey's voice is annoying as fuck.

  • The opening narration is done by the late Stan Jones...you might remember him as the voice of Lex Luthor on "Super Friends" plus Riff Raff and Wordsworth on "Heathcliff".

  • Watch Tisha Campbell's (the one in the middle) face on 2:05-2:07 lolol hilarious. If the quality was better on full screen you can really see why it's hilarious. Her face during this prologue is just funny

  • I love this. its such an upbeat tune for what its about:

    little shop of horrors

    little shop of terror

and the tune is all smile

  • just saw this at a high school!! luv it!!!

  • dont they get wet in all that rain

  • @MrJonathanBurton There was a baffle over the girls that moved with them so that they wouldn't get wet.

  • we did this in our theater at our school!!!1like a month ago!:)

  • I can't remember the order it went in - but after this or around this time Tisha Campbell went on to do the show Rags to riches on abc - Filmed School Daze with spike Lee then recorded her album for capital records then she did Martin - Tichina was on the soap opera Ryan's Hope thens he went on to star on Martin along with Tisha - both recorded a duet in 1997 for the Sprung movie soundtrack a remake of The Emotions "dont ask my neighbor" it's can u say HOOOT

  • @timbalandj you forgot house party 1 and 2 in the mix

  • @musiclover77able -Wow, I never knew when this came out but I remember watching as a kid too. 1986? I was six y/old at that time. Boy, we sure did have some good films in the 80's and 90's.

  • Awesome movie!!! Tichina & Tisha are still acting today. Both ladies were kid stars and now they are 40! They have successful careers and NEVER got into any trouble unlike the child stars now. I love them both.

  • they are awesome!!! :D

  • I LOVE IT!

  • Where can I get this Video? Been searching all my adult life!! Please - anyone - tell me where I can purchase this or have a LEGAL copy, please!!

  • @Gozeski itunes...

  • @TheScorpio4lyfe : Thanks a mil.

  • This movie used to scare me so much as a kid, I absolutely love it now. Along with the original.

  • those voices - classic Tichina - Tisha and Michelle - breathtaking

  • @timbalandj -Thanx, I never knew who the other girl were. But now I kow its Michelle. They were so young and each had long successful careers. Truly amazing!!!

  • @timbalandj -Thanx, I never knew who the other girl were. But now I know its Michelle. They were so young and each had long successful careers. Truly amazing!!!

  • Watching this now and knowing how much I watched this from the age of five is starting to explain a lot of things about my life...

  • @multiplesifl -what you mean? Good or bad?

  • i'm playing one of the trio in school production soo exited this helped me practice thanks soo much LittleShop3824

  • I get happy when I hear this song :)

  • I forgot how good this was!

  • Kitty!!! 2:10

  • I was watching this with my dad, and around 4:21, he said, "Honey?! I shrunk the kids again..." lol

  • @stacymovie How so? to make those dresses???

  • Um in the lyrics that you posted, you said 'Red alert' its Let em learn, I have this song for my chorus group

  • what year was this made in?

  • @americasgottalent97 1986, used to watch this all the time.

  • @americasgottalent97 1986 I saw the original show off Broadway w/ Ellen Greene when I was 8 and couldn't wait to see the movie.

  • @bookwoman53 How disappointed were you when you saw they changed the ending to make Seymour get away with murder?

  • @ExclusiveCheese Damn the the test audiences. The original sealed Seymour's deal he made with the devil. Gets to the story's Faust like roots. Many stories are like this.

  • The mom from Everybody Hates Chris & the mom from My Wife & Kids in this movie. Awesome.

  • @ALoserIsFred I see the mum from My Wife & kids but not the EHC mum :S

  • @NickyLess After the three walk out of the alley and singing, right before they say, Look Out, Look Out, Look Out, Look Out. She's to the right of Tisha. It's harder to recognize them here because when they did this film, they were only 17 & 18. In My Wife & Kids and Everybody Hates Chris. They were in their 30's. When you listen to speaking parts of those girls. You can compare the voices to episodes of those shows and you can recognize the similarities a little. The singing also sort of.

  • Aaaaahhhh.. They don't make good movie intros like this anymore... D:

  • No one sings like this anymore

  • lol @ 3:37

    "Come-a, Come-a, Come-a..."

  • @SecretService80

    ITs KARMA....

    not come-a..lol

  • I wish I had a trio of black girls to follow me around and sing songs about my life.

  • @IL0VEB0NES I couldn't agree more

  • @IL0VEB0NES you mean you dont? weird i thought everyone did!

  • @IL0VEB0NES that would be awesome. especially if it was Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell. Both of them are gorgeous.

  • @IL0VEB0NES Semi-analogous to the Disney movie: Hercules, with the Muses.

  • @IL0VEB0NES me too always wanted that...thats why I love Ceelo video so much because of the 3 girls

  • @IL0VEB0NES yeah well screw u!!

  • @IL0VEB0NES especially when masturbating.

  • @IL0VEB0NES We all do. :)

  • LML LOOK AT PAM AND GINA FROM MARTIN

  • 2:58 haha its rainin everywhere but on them :D

  • @lookinforadream this movie had alot of trick photography which is something no filmmaker today would waste their time with........that why this movie is a little precious to me , someone put alot of effort into this

  • @JerseySlugga85 amen to that. :) plus, a REAL AUDREY II?!?!? totally blows mi mind

  • I loveeeeeeeeeeeeee this movie. :)

  • Ok; those girls can sing!

  • I love this movie

  • This and The Pirates of Penzance built a love for musical theater in me. Part of me laments the thought that guys shouldn't like this sort of thing. Part of me says, "screw them and I'll listen to what I want." Thankfully the latter part won out early in life. Now excuse me, youtubians, I must devote my attention to a great song from a wonderful film =)

  • Tish a and Tichina were in their late teens in this movie.

  • @blodachia Were they really? When the movie came out,the 2 black actresses that U R talking about, were in their 30s or 20s actually.

  • @mermaidamp LOL both of those actresses were in their teens Tichina was 17 at the time and Tisha was 16.The movie came out in 1986 both of them were born in the late sixties, you do the mathnice try.

  • @blodachia Tisha was 18 & Tichina was 17. Tisha is older. Tisha was born in 1968 & Tichina was born in 1969.

  • A movie like this will never be made again! Knowing my luck Hollywood will remake this and make it entirely CGI and 3D as well.

  • What's with all the random ass facts from people?

  • I wish that there was Audio Commentary by Frank Oz in every part of this movie on YouTube.

  • How could you NOT like this

  • Tichina Arnold "Crystal" played the mom on Everybody hates Chris and Tisha Campbell "Chiffon" and her both starred in Martian with Martin Lawrence as Pam and Gina.

  • One of these girls played the mother in "Everybody hate Chris" right?

  • @notyouraveragething

It's the girl on the right.

  • @notyouraveragething yeah her name was rochelle and the one in the middle played peaches on tht show

  • I love that Chiffon and Crystal both got onto the show Martin after this. Its kinda cool.

  • on of the girls is the mum from my wife and kids lol

  • I'm casted as Chiffon! My show is today:)

  • this can never be made again it is the best version

  • In my recent theatre production I was Ronnette.

  • @littlemisstapdance ronnette was the little sister in 5 heartbeats

  • @amnjordan23 wow had no idea!

  • @amnjordan23 The little sister in 5 heartbeats was Tressa Thomas. Both women do resemble each other, however big age gap. ;-) I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!

  • @Uniquestylez01 you know what...your absolutely right...!

  • I was Chiffon!

  • I was recently casted as Chiffon I'm so excited!

  • Everyone worked hard to make this movie great.

  • Frank Oz did voice overs of Muppet character for the Muppet films. He also directed Little Shop Of Horrors.

  • Before I watch this..Can some1 inbox me and give me brief info of what this movie is about..Is this a Musical or what?

  • @UniqueMonique513 It's based on a musical which is inspired from an 1960's horror film. Guys finds a plant that only eats blood and soon has to feed it humans to keep it alive and keep on making his father money and to kep his girlfriend (even though she loved him regardless of wealth) Just check wikipedia for info

  • this gave me a boner

  • WHERE CAN I GET THOSE COSTUMES FOR MY DANCE CLASS? ANYONE KNOW?

  • @MCRdarkfaerie those are very easy to make yourself! :) it will be fun too!

  • "with a special appearence by steve martin? he was one of the best in the whole movie!

  • OMG how old were gina and pam when they did this?

  • This musical is my friggin childhood.

  • @xraindropgirlx Is that right?

  • @mermaidamp Absotively posolutely.

  • i love the little shop of horrors

  • @elis1mom Really? This one scared the crud out of me,because of that stupid plant. Audrey sounds a little bit like Minnie Mouse. Take a listen! That was Ellen Greene as a young lady. She has a black eye in the 1st part of the film. Sara Bareilles played her in a stage version at her school.

  • @mermaidamp Read an interview w/ Ellen She said that she had to gain weight to get some cleavage. The producers wanted a sexy Audrey.

  • This song is old school. Not bad, either. I played it on the piano.

  • this is good

  • haha we had to play this in band at school lol!!!

  • Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell are still acting, but I wonder what happened to Michelle Weeks...

  • LOVE THEM!!!!

  • Go on Pam and Gina from Martin!!!

  • this is the song!

  • @animeblue13, I am soooo jealous! :( I only wish my school had enough money to do this for our spring musical.

  • Damnit! That song was so catchey...

Now I have to get this movie.

  • @vincentx915 the movie is GREAT

  • they were awesome i guess two of them are really good friends still even though this was filmed over 25 years ago

  • Pam and Gina killed that doo wop:)!!

  • Tisha Cambell, Tishena Arnold should have been Deena and Lorrell in Dreamgirls back in the late 80's if they had made a movie! And Jasmine Guy could have played Michelle! Who could have played Effie? Whitney Houston could have been a thin Effie ala Sharon Brown!

  • the thinner, darker 1 is tichina arnold (Rochel), from everybody hates chris!

  • For some reason this wont play :S

    =)

  • The Light Skinned Girl Is Tisha Cambell.....The Mom From My Wife And Kids!

  • mr. mushnik looks like Zero Mostel...

  • It is so great to see "PAM","GINA" and "SHA NAY NAY" again after all these years "OH YOU SO CRAZYAY" "YOU GO GIIRRLLL"

  • damn gina

  • Every movie should have its plot explained in 80's music.

  • @warjikin yeah that might have saved the last airbender XD

  • @warjikin

    This is meant to be 50s r & b, not 80's music...

  • How could you not LOVE this GREAT movie?!!!!!
