@simpeldead it really doesnt matter if your life sucks right now...so does mine but im not suicidal anymore... im over it...i thought that every thing would be better if i were no longer on the earth... but i was wrong, i am wanted, the struggle and the lessons did make my life worth it and make me want to stay alive, cause if i died now...what would be left to show the effort the stay alive. Absoulutely nothing, just the wasted soul of someone loved...you should think like that too...

@stabbinhobo12 People arn't dying for no reason, they're dying because they have no reason to live. Read any suicide letter and you'll know it's true. It's not your body he wants to save.
Jesus is not the truth because you know who he is, he's the truth because he knows who you are. The purest form of that love will never try to protect itself. His truth is not within our acceptence, it's in our freedom to reject him. The worst thing God could ever do to you is give you everything that you want.

this song is so beautiful. the music video is awesome too. i got this cd for christmas, and it has left my player like twice. lol. the album is amazing, and WAY better than Hello Hurricane, which this lost to in the dove awards. and just for reference, i am a huge Switchfoot fan.

I've listened to this song three times and each time I cried a little harder. It's as though the song writer peaked into my brain and wrote this song. the most annoying when people call emo bands that sing pop-punk, pop-rock, post-hardcore or just if song has scream or band member has long fringe... it's freaking me out! And this people always don't know anything about rock and rock genres and listen pop or rap but still saying about him... Or call industrial and even matalcore, death metal... bands rock bands... then "I hate rock because of growling"...

What we need today is Biblical preaching-NOT worldly entertainers who pose as Christians, who lead people into a FALSE Christianity that bares no cross, lacks modesty,& fits in with the sinful world. Aren't we supposed to be calling the lost OUT of the culture to REPENTANCE, RIGHTEOUSNESS, & SEPARATENESS from the world, rather than imitate the culture? I won't say which religion I am. That's my business alone, and I don't want to upset or make anyone who could be uncomfortable. But this song has a far different meaning than something religious to me. Don't get me long, I love religion, any religion.
I see this song as somebody who has been going through a rough time, and is getting close to simply giving up. However, something, mental or physical, themselves or another, has let them know somebody still cares, and they're still worth it. <3

Playing the violin is such a beautiful talent, how could anyone treat her like her father does? I know it's just a music video, but the sad thing is that this stuff really happens every day. Very insperational song. The song is about faith. Not only must you have faith but you must obey the commands in Holey Bible to enter through the gates of Heaven. Christian or not every knee WILL bow before the Lord than you shall be judged on what you have done on this earth. Wide is the road to the gates of hell and many shall enter it...narrow is the way to heaven and only a few will find it

As a punishment for wrongs, He gave us our imperfections, but He has never stopped loving us, and He never stops trying to pull us to Him and His healing. we only have to actually be willing to follow Him, Not curse Him for every wrong in the world :P
