The bratwurst in this case is simply a metaphor for the capitalist 'carrot and stick' principle.

The powers that be do not want you to reach the carrot (in this case Bratwurst) so they stop you, by force if necessary from reaching their empty promise and discovering their lie...then your broken spirit goes back into the perpetuation of the consumer myth (in this case literally, the Bratwurst).

Die beste Bratwurst Deutschlands ist die Original-Thüringer, die man in Städten wie Weimar oder Jena bekommt. Da weiß man sehr genau was drin ist (bis auf letzte Geheimnisse der Würzmischung), ähnlich wie beim deutschen Bier.
