@TheGodlike50 I guess that depends on the characters you have now and the money you have to start with. Starting a rit from scratch, getting them to all the farming areas (TOA), capping the skills, getting the armor and runes, etc. can take a lot of time. Power trading is great if you have the patience and the start up dough to make it work. Also depends if you want to combine making money with title hunting, like VQing areas.

@TheGodlike50 DoA, doing event farming/quests running ZQ's like ATFH or Shiro I personally did not like trying UW for ecto farming but I did do a lot of Obby shard forest farming on my sin and found that to be more profitable as you get plant fibers as a bonus to shards, rubies, and sapphires. I've made 500k in one day from 3 hrs of running ATFH; however, due to work and school I do not play this game anymore.

One of the best money making strategies I have discovered was Kilroy Stonekin's punch out Tourny...People usually do it for the survivor title but if you think about it if you do a run and pick up drops you usually get around 1k-3k if your lucky...also lockpicks and black dyes drop from the people you kill too

I found getting different ways of income is key. Every week you get 20k + from the gifts. Get on top of that and out of the way on monday. Then farm feathers or just salvage everything you get when your questing, doing missions ect. Mats can go alot. 10k a stack for feathers and iron i think. Then get 10k balth a day (is that the limit or is it per week?) and thats 2 keys which is around 10k i think. thats like 40k a week and you dont even have to play every day either.

I started doing something like this before I found this video and it helped. I wrote down what armor pieces I wanted for each of my characters and then slowly have amassed most of it. If you use multiple casting class' you can usually get away with a couple caster sets for all of them and just store it when done for the next time IE caster modded spear, just don't customize them. If you have a gold or purple item, you can salvage parts of it off, like a sword has a hilt, pommel and inscription. When you remove it from the weapon, there is a chance to lose the original item, but with the "mod" taking off, you can put it on a different weapon that doesn't have the right "mod".

As to knowing what will go up.... no idea. Ecto will, but how much? It is already quite high and the holidays might make it go down.

Pretty cheap, yes. Onyx gemstones and diamonds rarely hit 500g. Granite slabs can be easily farmed in old Ascalon. I remember selling the gemstones for 10k each when EOTN came out... now 10k is the cost of the entire weapon almost.

Someone who plays through EOTN should finish with more than 5k in the bank and most of the rare raw materials by popping the end chests.

Power buying is great, but early players have a hard time getting the initial cash to start and the market changes quickly and unpredictably.

One of my friends bought a mini Naga for 770 ecto.... seems excessive for something that adds very little to your enjoyment of the game.

Yeah, I dedicated and got rid of most of my minipets. Not like I take them out that often. I would rather use the space to hold a bow or two for the day I make a ranger, or a couple shields for alliance mates.

That is truly excessive. I'm not a rich person but I hardly ever need to spend cash. Most I've paid for a mini was around 25k for shiro I think.

There's a few expensive ones that I'd like, but I'd rather have more useful stuff first like consumables for vanquishing.
