  • I love your channel!!

  • I have never heard of tzaziki but it looks and sounds delicious! I am going to have to try this soon.

  • that´s good, but i make onions in my tzakiki.

  • I put coffee filters into the strainer....this aids in removing water

  • @BoyDoIHaveNewsForYou Great Tip...thanks:)

  • It's pronounced /jah-jee-kee/. The combination TZ is used in Greek to indicate the /j/ sound in words of foreign origin, since the Greek alphabet does not have a J. In fact, the name is Turkish - spelled CACIK in Turkish and pronounced /jah-juk/. The exact same dish is made throughout the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean where it is called Taratour. This is probably easier to pronounce

  • She says Taziki but it's pronounced Tsah-tsiki. At least that is how they call it in Greece

  • @DezMoines100 yeah I guess it is hard to pronounce for most non-Greek languages, I too pronounce it as 'tsah-ziki', do note that 'z' gets closest to 'ts' possible I think

  • As always, Dani, looks delicious!

    Thank you.

    Jeanne

  • I love how all these recipes are so easy and healthy, and you don't need to buy a bunch of mechanisms :)

  • hahaha i love all your videos :]

  • Awesome Dani!

  • great recipe!just the way I like it ,simple and easy , thanks dani!!!!

  • the name sounds like Jah-jee-Key. greek cook here: you don't need to drain off the cucumber and the lemon zest is not needed. you also need to add a spoon of olive oil and a couple of spoons of vinegar. this is a classic Greek refreshing paste salad so it kinda needs all the water in the cucumber. some people even bring this mixture to a boil then add crashed nuts in it as a nice soup

  • I miss your little bloopers at the end :)

    But anyway, looks yummy.

  • Great!

  • dill? why not mint instead? and a pinch of white pepper..:-)

  • @LadyDatura09 Agree, tt's gotta have some mint in it.

  • I love that stuff but I can't pronounce the word correctly

  • @Oranguice She's actually mispronouncing it without the second t in the middle, which is common, but incorrect.
