Love the big fat Rat that runs out at 2:10 - thinks better of running across the tracks! lol - Look on the right side just past the 'station building' !
It was 2006, my one and only visit. Hope to make it back next year, this time with the Tich. I had it ready to take back then, but made two mistakes - didn't organise any transport for it (doh!) and snapped a steam valve the day before (double doh!). Hopefully this time everyhting will be fine...
The track is 7¼" gauge and the length of one circuit is over 3000ft or maybe about 1km. The line was made by a group of private individuals, I think construction started in the 1970s but the line has been in its current finished state for many years.
It's within a privately owned holiday chalet complex and provides rides for residents only - however it is known in the UK miniature railway community and as a member of the 7¼" Gauge Society and my local club, I'm able to make an annual visit.
Magnificent, Thank-you so much for sharing, by far one of the best private home railways I have viewed. Very impressive indeed!

It's based on an 08 but the chassis is a simple 0-4-0 'project loco' arrangement.

It's not exactly private. This railway was featured on The Railway Channel last year, it's at Hemsby.

Indeed, but it is run as a private concern and is not open to public off the street, and the owner may not want his location broadcast on YouTube.
It's a nice line, will take my steam loco there next year. Just had a great weekend with it at Millerbeck, got soaked on Saturday... lol.

Great minature railway. But i have just three questions:
1.How big and long is that railway?
2.Who made the railway?
3.How did you get to go on the private railway
because ive never in my life seen one like this before??!?!?!?!?
