See this is what I don't understand. Kalmah live sounds like this, meanwhile their albums sound like your original cover.

Probably they do neither of them.

What we hear in album is keyboard's melody and many people (including me) cover that in guitar.But actually lead guitar plays higher harmony mixed in low volume.

Then,When it comes to live we can hear the leadG louder than key.That's why you feel like that.Before making this version I was confused too.

dude I thought that the keyboard plays in higher harmony mixed in a lower volume...or simply they play exacly the same notes on guitar and keyboard in same volume...i m confused..

antti plays a lower harmony mixed on lower volume. that is why you cannot hear it unless you listen closely at some of the guitar breaks in the song like 2:19 i this video.
