I don't know why this is any big surprise, after all this is a society that abandons its elderly to deplorable conditions in nursing homes. Self serving greed and decaying morals are killing this country.

the White House is big enough to accommodate all the pets who are at risk of becoming homeless and euthanized because of over-crowding shelter's etc. Perhap's the first lady Michelle could also make her rounds around the country and teach those American families who have lost their home's & give them tip's on how to redecorate their one room in tent cities' and grow their own vegetables. This is what they got for voting for the "Man of Change that They Could Believe In" Barack Obama!

Pretty soon people will be eating the dogs and cats like they do in China or make toys and coats out of them. People really do not care about animals.
