  • i'm in love with cigarettes so what kind i do to quit that bad habit?

  • @taman3666 just look at pictures of what happens when you smoke or chew or smoke a pack at once to make you sick of them

  • Don't let big tobacco profit from your premature death and suffering. This $@#% is so bad for you. Think about how many chemicals run through your blood stream when you smoke!!! It may seem like you need to smoke but that is the drug and social conditioning getting the best of you!!!

  • Call me a ponyfag if you must, but this somehow got in the related videos of a My Little Pony video.

  • i quit smoking last 2 months and im very happy

  • I quit smoking yesterday after 5 years.

  • I quit once I read that addiction is not being able to express yourself. i started expressing myself and didn't miss it. now when i think about smoking I feel good because i quit. and the smell is gross now. i still smoked when i drank, but after about a year i didnt do that anymore becuase cigs tasted gross. i can feel my lungs still clearing out, but the first 3 4 weeks was the best. i had bad breath because my lungs were clearing out tar. it's been just over a year now since i quit.

  • Today I quit smoking after many years of addiction.I was an unusual smoker, despite I smoked every single day during many years, I just had about 5 to 6 cigarettes a day ( not many compared to several smokers). I decided quitting after realizing how tired I felt every time had to go up a few stairs from my University! I know it's first day, every thing seems strange for me, I am not suffering as much as I thought I would due to a good mental preparation! Hope I will never smoke again in my life!

  • I stopped smoking.

I might only be young but sometimes its harder when you are young since the social circles almost demand it in some situations.

I was on tablets, Champix. Sceptical at first but they did thier job, i was meant to be on them for 4 weeks and i quit on the 14th Day. I've been 10 days without smoking and ive not really desired a cigerette or a cigar at all. Although the temptations are still there.

My health, Odour and love life is fantastic now. And i only did it for myself.

  • Just quit this summer.

  • I finally quit after 20 years, haven't had a cigarette in 7 months now. Cold turkey is best, just bite the bullet and go through the withdrawals, nothing worked for me, gum, patches etc. Cold turkey is the way to go! The desire WILL PASS!

  • I'm someone who smoked for over 30 years, quit just 4 days ago. I have to say, this video was pants and would have done NOTHING to help me quit.

  • i stopped smoking 2 weeks ago but now im coughing alot which didnt happen when i used to smoke, it all started a week ago first i had a sore throat for 2 days then the coughing started i dont understand it i guess its my body regenerating itself,

  • @gentlesod Its your body is getting rid of toxins. How do you feel now?

  • @3zib

where to start so many changes. coughing stopped, breathing much easier and smoother, food tastes so much better. i play football on the weekends i've noticed the biggest change in my recovery time when i get breathless its so much easier to breath and recover quickly. all that and i hardly think about smoking ever again although it was hard at the start im just used to not smoking anymore now. and i went cold turkey i didnt use anything like patches just gave up

  • @gentlesod Im very proud of you! I myself am on day 12 and its getting somewhat easier. Just being able to breath makes it all worth. Cheers to living life smoke free!!

  • @3zib

    thanks and good luck

  • I stopped smoking 3weeks ago and i feel even worse..my breathing is worse, justgot put on a damn inhaler reliever.

  • I stopped some time ago and I'm very proud of myself, I am so proud. I think, to stop smoking, you have to realize that you're not a slave. Now, I'm being free.

  • I stopped smoking for a month now, the money i saved is unbeliable.

Good luck with whoever trys stopping smoking

  • DOES IT GET EASIER?????

  • @sp1ink Time is the true healer!!

  • @MrYevrah we all have the decision whether to smoke our first cigarette or not.

  • I was a heavy smoker for 40 years. I quit 3 years ago. After the first year of quitting, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am so thankful that I had quit, because I knew the added energy, better breathing, would be a positive force in helping me to combat the disease. Today, cancer free, still a non smoker, and looking and feeling better than I have in years.

  • this makes me want to put on a rolling stones album and drink some jack and coke and smoke sooo many marlboro 27's

  • nothin better than an ice cold pack of smokes on a hot summers day!

  • I stopped smoking for about 2 1/2 yrs. I stopped smoking not just for myself but for my child. I didn't want to risk her health because of my filthy habit. I'm happy I got rid of this bad habit. My life is so much better and I can breathe!!!

  • @WarezWald0 EXACTLY!!! My ex-girlfriend never stopped nagging about my smoking and why I wouldn't stop for her if I loved her. You know what helped me to quit? Ditching the girlfriend and deciding it for myself. However, if you feel like you have to make an effort not to relapse than something is not right. I never feel bad about not smoking. I feel very liberated and free. I tried to get rid of that crap for two years straight. I feel like an ex-smoker but I'm very happy not to smoke anymore.

  • I sometimes feel like relapsing and just having one cigarette, but then I remember how it feels to smoke after 2 years off..It is awful. If it helps anyone, I have my own way of not relapsing. "I never have to smoke tobacco again." The memories of all that ash and smoke, dirty ashtrays, the wheeziness, the low energy, bad breath, etc. I am so glad I quit after 22 years...Anyone who wants to stop smoking,remember..It's never too late to quit, but there's no time like the present.

    PEACE

  • love how all they talk about is how great they feel being a nonsmoker, instead of the agony and torture one endures when trying to quit.. and how you never ever feel like a "nonsmoker", you always feel like an ex-smoker. big difference. everyone i know who has quit, from my grandfather to people my age and lower, all say the same thing... they think about smoking very often or all the time and it's a daily struggle to not go back.

  • @WarezWald0 You know, that BS about still wanting a cig years and years later is exactly that, BS. I've now been a non-smoker for about 45 days and already I can say I just don't want a cigarette. I literally don't want one. It wouldn't be a "treat" or anything like that, it would be plain stupid and bizarre to stick something in my face and set fire to it, before breathing in the freakin' smoke. I am SO over that crap! Something to nibble or fiddle sure but NOT a cigarette thanks. Urgh.

  • @bigglyguy

Glad to hear you quit too. :) Things have improved greatly since I first wrote that, I still don't smoke and it's been well over a year now and it's no longer the daily struggle it was then. I do, however, still have moments where I really want to smoke-- I am looking forward to the day I can watch a movie or tv show where someone smokes and not miss it myself, can't say I am at that point yet, but I am glad you are.

  • Man Im so angry! My dad smokes and no matter hw many times I try to show him these quit smokinh videos he just keeps on doing it again! Its annoying me! Anyone have any other suggestions to get my dad to quit smoking?

  • @Superhightec whenevr he try to smoke ask him to chew gum

  • Superhightec

Sure, get him to read Allen Carrs Easyway to stop smoking. If he reads it, and finishes it, he will probably quit smoking. Forget nicotine replacement and scary video clips, that won't help any smoker. Try some good old knowledge. Better yet, you read it first and you will be able to better explain than he can himself what it means to be a smoker. Because right now, you're just annoying the crap out your dad.

  • @Superhightec

inform yourself about Allen Carr's EASYWAY method to stop smoking, talk to your dad about that after you have possibly read the book(u can find it everywere) and make your dad read it. i assure you that is a great book.

  • @Superhightec Read allen carr's easy way to stop smoking. It works.

  • I smoked cigarettes since i was 13. im 20 now and i quit 3 months ago and i couldn't have done it without the e-cigarette.

  • I don't know why for people its hard to quit smoking i mean i smoked for 3 years i think and then one day i just said "i quit"and i did i didn't have any problem with it but maybe its just me.

  • three years is a long time but not that long and i think some people have less "drive" than others naturally

  • @luigiK1 yeah maybe your right i mean 3 years is long but not that long and yeah your right about the "drive" thing

  • You probably didn't see it as a sacrifice; When you "give up" smoking, it's hard. When you rightly understand that there is nothing to "give up", and only things to gain, then quitting smoking isn't hard for anyone. Even long-term chain-smokers would find it easy to quit as long as they obtain the right mental attitude.

People should stop trying to "give up" smoking and start to "get out" of smoking. Seen?

  • I want to quit smoking so bad now..my throat has been burning lately and i feel sluggish. i tried chantix but it gv me bad side effects, the patch made me sick ..the longest ive gone was five months and it was great i used exercise and art as an outlet..im been upset about some things and so called friends are quick to offer cigs and i slowly started again. my family is worried and my dr i hv a tweenager and dont want to be a bad example..any suggestions? i hope i can overcome this :(

  • @purekarma28

believe me allen carr is the solution. find his book the easyway to stop smoking- i never had any problems with his method and i am finally free:)))))

I will help you and you will be a happy non smoker.

cheers to all ex smokers and those who want to quit!

  • its good but he doesnt actually have a technique its just him talking hios mind you know --

  • yes, that's true. but if you really try to listen what he says, sooner or later you'll understand how all of us have been fooled to believe that we like and need cigarretes. It's not like that- only your brainwashed mind telling you so. Once you truly understand that- you'll never want to smoke again. i think Carr's book is the best way- it helped me and 4-5 of my close friends. I hope it can help you too. all the best!:)

  • yeh ai agree totally - I think that most of society is b washes too - in most things so its refreshing to see this confirmed - it has so far tx

  • just quit smoking NOW...nothing else..start gymnastics

  • I just had my three year jubillee of being a nonsmoker, after 22 years of smoking a pack per day. I am quite proud of it.

  • ive stopped 3 months ago after smoking for 12 yrs

  • Congrats!

  • @DegenekUnit good job mane people like you who have quit for that many years inspire and help me quit too but i still love my mary jane!

  • after I stopped smoking my life improved because:

    1. I am actually happy when I think about smoking, because I stopped.

    2. My mouth smells better.

    3. When I workout or run I do not caught out stuff 5 minutes after.

    4. My stamina and performance improved by about 600% (also due to training but it would be impossible before because I always got sick or caughed out stuff).

    5. I don't smell like cigarettes.

    6. I actually smell things now :)

    7. I save at least 50 Euro monthly.

  • 50 euros a month... I save $140.00 dollars a month here in usa wooooo

I actually throw it in jar and do nothing with it... savings.

  • @SVKmellow

thats where you right. keep being healthy people!

  • Well done to everyone that has quit, some friends won't give you much Gratz due to jealously but who cares you have done an amazing thing which is no easy mission! I smoked for 10 years and have not had a puff in 1 year.

  • Remember the craving will last only a couple of minutes ,and its unbelievable the amount of money you save , i put the first months savings into having all the old nicotine stains and tar removed from my teeth, seriously you will and can do it ,think of how stubborn you can be some times lol and put it into practise , if i can help one person quit this filthy/expensive habit i will feel better for that ,remember mind over matter, be strong, peace.

  • You are a good person

  • i think genetics also played a role in smoking, my grandpa died due to smoking (emphysema) and all of us refused to smoke except for one, my brother next to me, my grandma recalled that my brother smoked like my grandpa.

  • once again i returned to the feeling of normality after the initial cravings passed ,went to bed jeez i havent had a smoke for a day,my partner then go's shopping and brings me back one of them nicorette inhaler thingies with the little capsules of nicotine i try this an BINGO this is going to be sooo easy .After 3 months of the nicorette i threw that in the bin and here i am now feeling so much more fitter and stronger and a little fatter , give this method a try if i can give up anyone can.

  • turned tv on and after a couple of hours i noticed my pupils felt dilated and i felt a bit light headed (as you do when you wanna smoke)so i opened a packet of crisps and started sucking on them slowly lol it seemed to work the craving passed after about 3 minutes and i felt normal again ie bloodrate ,the next time i got a craving was about 3 hours later same similar symptons as above this time i got a drink of water and just sipped it for a couple of minutes

  • Hi, i gave up 8 months ago i smoked 25 aday for 30 years, reason for giving up didnt enjoy it when i smoked to much horrible burning sensation in throat usually during pub/drinking etc, 2 coughing up lumps of brown flegm in the morning (sorry),3 being selfish ie smoking in toilet sittingroom hallway etc (only smoker in household).I first of all smoked every rollup and then smoked all my buts ,next morning chucked my rizla and lighters even ashtray in the bin (trash),turned all phones of ,

  • smoking sucks

  • i will have quit smoking for two months tomorrow after smoking for 7 years. i went cold turkey. the first 2 weeks were the worst, especially when alcohol was around. But now feel so much better, it gets easier every day as you get out of the day to day habit. i will encourage you all to quit - remember the addiction is in your head.

  • My friend, please guide me how to stop smoking just like you did, how long has it been for u?, I'm seriously trying to get rid of this disgusting habit of smoking fags, I'm on my 4th day and seems to be ok but it's hard to resist, I've realized that just quitting smoking is not going to improve my life, i have to quit drinking alcohol, junk food and start going to the gym or do some sport activity to shape up my mind and health, I'm planing on doing all this and need someone's opinion as well

  • The hardest part is at the beginning. just try to take your mind off it when u get a craving - make a drink, tidy up, check your emails, do some excercise - the craving will only last a few minutes, and they WILL become fewer and further apart. The nicotine will still be in your system so just keep going. keep reminding yourself why you quit in the 1st place. it will get easier and you will feel the benefits. Mind over matter, my friend.

  • @Jehangt3 I think it's a good idea to take up a sport or a hobby like martial arts. It will definitely shape up your mind and health. try kyokushin karate. I have a lot of friends who smokes. I am the only one who successfully stopped. All my buddies are okay with it after awhile. Most of them had tried to quit at sometime or another. It took many tries, at least 20 times. It just get easier and easier each time you try to quit.

  • @GetDamage Now, I don't think about it anymore. It feels good knowing that you are in control of yourself. A lot of people get discourage when they relapse, and give up. I suggest staying positive. Just keep at it and you will eventually succeed. It only get easier each time you try. Once you get past three months, it gets a lot easier. And it's okay to relapse a few times. That is normal. Good luck bro!

  • you are so right

  • I never smoke and I never will.

  • thats good, i never should have started this habit at start, planing on quitting asap, i'm on my 1st week still, problem is now my friends don't hangout with me much cos i quit, any tips

  • well if you have a will to stop the smoking so dont give up even if your friends left you, you should pick-hang out with friends with a cigareete or to be healthy and stop smoking

and mybe you can go out with them but just dont smoke and if someone is smoking step aside a little bit. hope it helped :)

  • well tht's gr8 tht u quit smoking. don't pay attention 2 ur friends cuz if they won't hang with u just cuz u quit smoking then ur friends aren't even worth it rite now cuz u have a goal in life and they don't. good luck :)

  • there not exactly amazing friends then are they, iv gone a week without smoking and iv lost about seven of my friends, because i told them i wanted out, they were the reoson i started, im 14, and tbh i hated smoking, well, after smoking, i hated smelling it on my hands, and tasting it, awefull, since iv quit iv felt so clean, i cant wait to just go on smoke free, i only smoked for about 2 month, quiting was hard, but every time i craved id do something, i wasnt gonna loose that battle.

  • quit early. i think i had troat cancer already.

  • I'm quitting myself. Not out of the woods yet. I hate what I'm feeling now. I feel lightheaded, my head and body aches. But I'm almost through it. Great video.

  • working so he will become rich and fine he can get very very beatiful girls dont need he chase

  • wenner jk cool vid.

  • Just wish I could quit. I love it and hate it. Both too much...

  • lol that's a real truth!

    i feel the same!

i hate it because i know it's bad for my health...

but i love it because i feel like restored...or something...either way it sucks
