Unfortunately iBooks is just not ideal for interactive features such as maps. A separate app with Google Maps integration, personal favourites for attrations, places, hotels, in-app purchases for new guides, nearby information with push updates etc. etc. would be a lot better. I have tested one of your new guides, but as long as there is no real app, I will still use the normal books or simple pdf files of the ebooks outside of iBooks.

Neat application. Too bad travel anymore equates to being naked body scanned and exposed to radiation. =)
