@LegitProNoob I know the energy system is a bust but you have to look at it this way, if there was no energy system people could get to the core in a day, plus, they would earn no money if it remained free to play because people use real money to buy energy and thus have to close the game, also with energy in place it makes you have to play efficiently for example, you need to limit how often you revive yourself to preserve energy so you can delve deeper!

I see some of your points that I didn't think of (getting into the core in one day), but atleast sega could do is make it regenerate like 20 energy per hour or less then that. Because you have to make armor with it, go into dungeons, and play. They could also make those game cards at 7-11 and places ._.

I think it's mostly a way to get people to pay for the game, which, if I think about it is fair enough considering the fact that they need money to keep the game running. What bothers me the most is just how much it takes to craft new weapons and armor. 400 energy PER 4 star item!? It's kinda ridiculous.

There should be mini-games in the arcade that gives you Energy. Seriously, I need Crowns right now in the game, but pretty much the only way to get Crowns in this game is buy killing monsters in dungeons, but you can't go into the dungeons with at least 10 energy, but I used all my energy in the last time I was in a dungeon, and I have no money AND I only have 150 crowns by the time I posted this comment. The only way to get Energy is by waiting, and it takes FOREVERRRR to get enough energy to

@themangOMEGA anything! What's even worse, say you have 7 energy, and 100 crowns. You ask a player if you can trade those crowns for, let's say, 20 energy. It's 50 crowns for one energy. Wow, why can't you just spend 10 crowns for one energy? Let me answer my own question: That would mean letting players actually be able to PLAY THE GAME without spending money to get something that fades away quickly.

Whoa, Three rings gone all RPG all of a sudden.

The Linux client is crazy buggy on my PC. All player characters are floating heads without torsos. There's occasional bursts of random polygons--looks like a disco hall sometimes, other times it obscures the action. Oh, and most of the monsters are invisible most of the time. I can get the Windows version to work, unless I'm trying to change the resolution, in which case the game just crashes.

Currently giving it a try, it's fun, and it's pretty forgiving for D/Cers. Energy system sucks, regardless on how you look at it. Crystal Energy, however, is another story.

Graphics are nice. Love the details on background stuff. And to the guy says $20 games have a lot of quality...were they really $20, or have they been price dropped? Things normally start off at $50~$30. And this isn't AION or whatever, this is some Classic RPG homage.

Plus, videos doesn't do SK justice. It's very pretty.

C'mon dude, Sega doesn't have very much to do with it at all! Three Rings has been working on this for some time-- Sega's just letting them jump on the bandwagon so to speak.
