  • How do I use cheats in the DOS Version of Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition?

  • @ilikecomedians Just type them during the gameplay. Or you can pause the game by pressing the "pause/break" key and type in cheats while paused. Just remember - the game is more fun without them.

  • @dosnostalgic Yeah but whenever I try to press the talk button which is the "T" button it doesn't show up.

  • @ilikecomedians You don't need to press anything. Just start typing during the game.

  • @dosnostalgic It doesn't allow me to type though. I don't know why.

  • i had this game first on my 486 :D

  • Nicely done.

  • Hehe, you left out "Don't have time to play with myself" too ;) Thanks for the memories, I still have some DOS Noastalgia's left to watch :)

  • awesome video, Anatoly. :) Thumbs up!~Ryan

  • I haven't played Duke 3d in years, and didn't really have a desire to play it again until watching this video, so I'm going to have to pull it out.

No mention of the "That's one doomed space marine" secret? That's the main thing I remember from the game.

  • @sandmanxo I thought about it, but decided not to. Almost included "Now this is a force to be reckoned with" one, but decided to skip it as well. I couldn't possibly include all the references in the review, plus I really didn't want to give things away if someone haven't played this game before and decided to do so.

  • You got one more actually. Duke Nukem Manhattan Project.

  • @onexero1 Not a DOS game.

  • @dosnostalgic My bad.

  • very nice, but what about duke nukem: manhattan project?

  • @42asshole Not a dos game, so I won't be taking a look at it.

  • I love this game, brings many memorys back.

    Gut gemacht:D

  • Excellent video dude! Covered all the basics and then some, and was just awesome to watch - no complaints whatsoever. Hoping to get my own Duke 3D review online next week sometime before DNF comes out.

  • @phreakindee Thank you very much! Can't wait to see yours!

  • Excellent review. I'm ashamed to admit I've never player Duke 3D.

  • @shaurz You should correct that immediately, and then there will be nothing to be ashamed of.

  • Uhh yeah, one of my favorite freakin' games of all freakin' time. Duke accauly teached me my first english words when i was a kid that was "Damn, you're ugly!" making him say cool stuff by pressing Alt. and the function keys during the gameplay. Groovy times !

  • So your using the 16bit mode instead of the 8 bit mode

  • @Dakkiller1 Yep :)

  • I wish I'd known about these mod tools back when I was still playing it on DOS. One of my favourite games for sure.

  • Wow! I didn't realize quite a lot of what you said here. Especially about the extent of modding and fan-made levels.

  • @IgorHardy I'm trying to be informative without getting too geeky (and I can!). Duke Nukem 3D deserves its palace in gaming history for many, many things.

  • Very good Review!
