It is hard to pick just one prettiest place....BUT I was fortunate enough to see the Nasrid Palace in the Al Hambra AT NIGHT. They are SPECTACULAR at night and since the rest of the Al Hambra is closed, there are no large crowds to deal with....
The cluch is being adapted from the 331 Caddy motor to a cluch and tranny(?) of a different style or something and the shop had some kind of break down that has been fixed so the flywheel should be done soon as I understand it.
This little note is for rpeek. I got that Hupmobile :) it's a 1933 421K with the suiside front doors. It'd rougher than a cob, I've known about for 40 years and part of the retreval tools will be a chainsaw ;)
You are doing an awesome job, wish I was there to help (or watch in person!). I built a couple of rods back in the late 70's and early 80's and your project brings back a lot of great memories.
That flywheel must be real expensive, to take so long to make, huh?
Did you think of using the brake drums that fit the brakes and backing plates on the rear end and just redrill the bolt pattern? I think that would be pretty simple to accomplish for you.
I get so I can't wait for your next enstallment, the subscribers to this video presentation is small but loyal but as time goes on you'll get more and more viewers, no one else is teaching as they go along.
I think the guy making your fly wheel Has forgotten about it or something. it should never take this long..The longest it's ever taken me to get something made or redone was 2 weeks and that was making a set of aluminum heads from scratch.
They had one of the machines break down. Said it would be done by Thursday. It's going to be fine. I've got plenty to keep me busy in the mean time. Thanks.
are you going to paint the body? it would look cool if you left it as is.
