I feel that you approach the song with a too much of a "metal feel". Ease up, be gentle, feel the drum set.
P.S. You may want to hold your sticks in a proper way(of course, a question of taste), but to get a more gentle feel of the drums, you should hold the sticks differently. Search for "matched grip" on google.
I don't mean to preach, you're definitely good. But to become even better you might want to look into these tips :)
@chongzilla My dad actually made it from a percussion mounting bar, and gibraltar cymbal stackers. I wouldnt dare to try and write this song out, sorry!
great setup, who cares if it's similar to harrison's one, he's 16 years old, he has time to become original. btw you play well, even if your a little bit inprecise. a question: did you have to cut other cymbals to make that group of mini splash right?
@InShatteredMolds the dude is playing well. stop looking for an excuse to diss a talented guy. or u cud just respond with a video of ur own, playing a better cover.. with a more "original" drum setup.
3 people are jealous...

where did you get the stand for five tiny cymbals? I was trying to make one but then realized I suck at welding! haha
Also, do you have this written out? This is one of my favorite songs by them.

It's a bit.. What's the english word. Pushy? I mean your stressing the song a bit. Try aproaching it with a more layed back feel :)
Otherwise, very nice played!

Why don't we actually talk about his cover instead of mocking his drum set? Sick cover man. Continue the good work.

@InShatteredMolds It is similar, but the set up fits me well and is comfortable to my playing.
