Mate, don't put an ecotec in it, all it is a restricted XE. If you are going to put a 2.0 in it, either a C20XE (Redtop) or a 20SEH, a 2.0 8v from a Cavalier SRI. Ecotecs are just awful.
8valve is a goos idea hense the E16SE that I have already for torque. I really don't want to go red top because everyone does that. I won't be doing anything until the show season is over anyway.
Its got a E16SE engine from a Nova GTE, I am planning to do another conversion soon, Most likely a 2.0 ecotec, Red top conversions are to common so I want to be differant.

It hasnt got a VXR engine in it. It's a E16SE.
And yes it's fast and does keep up with much more powerful stuff.
