Hey, i like both fighters! I think they are both bad asses. Actually Dan looks a lot meaner than Babyface!! :-)

The reason Dan was never in any danger of Joe's chokes, is because he was physically unable to lock them down due to torn cuff. He had dan 2 times in a choke. If he had full power, joe could have finished it.

Joe came out strong, no doubt, but dan was never in trouble. He did get caught early, but technically countered everything Joe tried. I think highly of Joe, but he was not going to win that fight. (especially not by guillotine)

Dan didn't land a punch because he didn't throw a punch. He slammed Joe while he was working (hard) for the choke, and moved to side control. The fight would have been over in another 15 seconds anyway...with the same winner.

@Flyingknee138 I can see that we are not going to agree, and that is cool. The only way Dan got side control is because Joe had shooting pain from the very 1st punch which he over extended. From that first punch (which saw Dan crumble into the cage) Joe was hurt. He then tried an unsuccessful G-Choke. He had it set, but due to his right sholder being torn, he could not add the pressure needed. Joe had the choke set twice. 2nd time he tapped, not due anything dan did, but the pain.

@DenicioDelToro Do look under this user account for the Multi Camera edit of the video. Its there for all to see. All 3 cameras tell the same story. Dan was hit early and got only one slam. Joe landed punches and knees. Set 2 chokes but could not finish either due to the torn rotator cuff. NOW, Dan was about to land a big elbow, but that was stopped by the ref. Dan seems like a cool guy, and a great fighter. I simply see Joe controlling this fight, even with an injury.

@Flyingknee138 Really? Hmmm, i was cage side and saw it all happen. Funny how POV differs. I just posted a 3 camera edit to help refresh your memory. I simply dont see a single hit landed by Dan. Just a single slam that was not that great of a slam. Not trying to take ANYTHING away from Dan, as he is a great fighter. I want to see a rematch, personally.

Well, in the whole 36 seconds of the fight, Joe did a really good job of landing some solid punches and a few knees. Dan got one slam in that almost did some damage. The fight stopped earlier as Joe had dan down and threw a punch so hard that he ripped a muscle in his sholder, which caused him to tap. He had Dan in a Guillitie Choke but could not lock it down due to the torn tissue in his sholder.

This is absolutely hilarious - I would like to see what Joe Pass has to say tomorrow. Poor guy has no idea.
