@fenderuser7 The "singer" you're referring to is none other than George Clinton himself, the RRHOFer who is the creative force behind the P-Funk universe...and the "help" he provided them was to produce their second album, Freaky Styley. Also, P-Funk guitarist Blackbird McKnight played with them briefly.
@CosmogCarl yeah ik i read anthony kiedis's autobiography 3 times i said singer cause not everyone knows who he is and if they dont know him then they probably wont know that he produced Freaky Styley. and duh thats who they kicked out because they thought he wasnt a good fit in the band because of his musical backround then they hired john after
