  • damn i got those some lights

  • they look over watered

  • any update videos after the roots have reached the nutrient solution?

  • plant leaves are way to wet man. they will clog the leaves up and fuck up growth

  • !!!!!!!!!!!out grow the government !!!!!!!!!!!

  • what type of lights wand how many watts?

  • dam i bought a ready to bud clone for 15 ea you got ripped off on those plants

  • no need for pump.. right (:

  • @GreenThumbDK True story.

  • @squrlking Roffle aka rofl

  • thnx 4 da info

  • THE LIGHT 50.00 WHERE?

  • Nice setup, I love these kind of videos, its cool to see personal setups.

  • What size resevoir did you use and what size are the net pots???

  • dont trip bro.. i had to cry myself to sleep last night when all my plants on my youtube videos died

  • wont be long before he has a fire with a setup like that.

  • i would have like to see how they turned outt

  • hahahahh the power cord as rope is bomb haha can you help e with ur supply list to set this system up but only for one plant and your budget

  • @Armornone Why don't you STFU and see what happens ?

  • @Armornone #2 favorite post.

  • @Armornone you think they don't watch it?

  • is tht weed???

  • is it just home cfl's or not help me out

  • @treglit you can use clf's but your yield wont be as high as it would if it was hps. Normally if you use clfs you want them no more then 6inches away from your plants. and get 400watts cfl. .Nothing else

  • keep on with some updates man!!

  • $15 per plant??! What are they?

  • @TardsOfParadise clones

  • aT 2:50 YOU SHOULD NEVER TOUCH UR GROW LIGHTS WITH UR HANDS BRO...THE OIL FROM YOUR HANDS WILL KILL THOSE LIGHTS QUICKER THAN ANYTHING

  • checkout my vids ur plants dont look that bad

  • Try adding small reflective rings around your plants to reflect the light up underneath your plants. Conical in shape if you can manage. Same effect the stupid looking thing sunbathers use XD

  • you were trying to grow with a halogen (longer lasting incandescent)??? O.O

  • thanks

  • as I look back through the length of when this was posted....not being mean but the plants are probably long gone or the rockwools have turned green good start but rw never sticks out of the rock.....

  • You better get a clue dude those lights are a joke....those will do more damage than good....

  • where you got your clones

  • headband is the shit im from santa cruz got some at the club in frisco.

  • At 3:05 check the lose nails. DANGER.

  • nice system .what nutrions u use hit me back up ty

  • this is a hassle and it cost more than buying a aero grower device from target. This also takes up more space, and uses more electricity.

  • Nice videos man, +++rep to you!

  • dude i love your videos :D

  • how often do you change the water?

  • @jcast1976 your suppose to change it every 7-10 weeks and clean your tub out with hot water and clean it of any residue. Then place fresh ph leveled water and new nutrients.

  • so howd they turn out tryn the same system what did u have to trouble shoot for

  • TOP IT

  • Thanks for the vid. It was very informative and easy to follow. Your clones look fine. I have made a system like yours, after seeing your vid........i went out and built my system with confindence. Thanks heaps man!

  • haha love ur set up man, i have one pretty dam similar in the closet of my rented house also lol. And im sure u found out bubbleponics is the way to go!! n i actually juss got the same 150w hps but dam i wish it woulda costed me $50 lol, had to order it online so it was $80. Does it put out a lot of heat? or are u able to maintain the temp in the closet with it on?

  • nice setup, its better if you leave the drippers in the whole way through as they deliver nutes straight to the central roots, u might want to have the tubes go outside the box then go the plants as the roots will get caught up in them

  • Damn I paid 85$ for the same light lol Looks good did anything come of it?

  • OOOMMMGGG where did you buy your clones at???

  • i have seen shity looking plants like his grow up in to some nice looking plants so get this guys back prople hey how did yours do??

  • OMG your sh*t bruv look at the state of those skinny plants GIVE UP

  • Never give up on anything, you dipshit. He needs encouragement. Not some downer asshole annoying him.

  • Don't even trip. I had a friend a long time ago that was trying to tell me that his bud plant needed a heat lamp... he fucking cooked that shit in a couple hours. I tried to tell him...

  • nice shoes

  • do u run ur water pumps 24/7? i made a kit similar to urs

  • where did you get those pots again

  • loganmnpls <3 squrlking

  • @squrlking where did you buy plastic air pipes which is inside in basket and water compressor because I don't understand well when you talking in the video

  • Well ok so the nets should beeley touch well the bubles will pop and kinda create a lil mist right I saw some one put the whole clone 1" inch in the water what u think

  • Hey bro how high do I fill the water in the container, so tht when I lay the lid with my baskets were my clone goesI kno it won't drown or how do I kno it's done right

  • I filled it so the bottom of the net pots were just in the water. I thing at first its important to maintain that level, but once the roots are nice and developed, you can relax a little.

  • dont feel bad bro. we all burn the fuck out of our plants with those big ass light bulbs. i call them vampire killers.

  • i know this is a stupid question but what are the blocks in the middle

  • Rockwool they come in lots of sizes.

  • he is right about the washing your arms and hands

  • AWESOME setup bra everything looks geat, the only thing im ganna say is make sure you wash your hands and arms if your ganna stick your arm in. Ive killed a crop fuckin up like that.

I cant wait to see what you post next bra. Thanks for the entertainment!!! I love growing i have a few vids on my page too.

The only way I grow is with bubble-ponic systems.

  • I think you should also get a fan to move some air around like the natural winds outdoors and it will also strengthen your branches for when the thick luscious buds come in!!

Awesome set up though man definitely looking for the next vid lets see how they have came along 5 stars

  • eric foreman

  • so the roots are posta be submerged in the water...

for some reason, i thought the bubbles deliver the nutrient in the form of a mist to the roots, but then again what do i kno bout aeroponics.

  • this is slightly different than an aeroponics system, this is "bubbleponics" or deep water culture.

  • so in aeropons, the roots are suspended above the water level...?

  • i believe so, yes. I can't be 100%, because I've never done aeropon.

  • i see, that just confused me a little bit, i thought i rememberd reading my facts from the growers bible or something, but i wasnt sure.

  • duct tape that hole or algae is going to fuck your game up

  • I burned my first batch with those lights too.. i was teen age...good enough exuse lol...anyways good video...better view and basic knowledge of how it works for newbie..good luck...:) im trying same methods

  • Do you always have your pump running nutrients to the plants all the time, or is it on a timer for X amount times a day? Otherwise this looks like a awsome way to grow.

  • it is supposed to be ran 24/7, but i would suggest put them on a timer until they have adapted thats what i did and mine are doing excellent.

  • I had the pump running constantly until the roots were in the water & thriving, and then I removed it completely. Also, I moved the tubes so they weren't directly flooding the rockwool, as per some advice from another youtuber. :D

  • Whats your light schedule for veggy and for flowering stage, and do you replace the water weekly, or add nutrients and water to top it off each week?

  • Where did you get that light for 50 bucks?

  • Do the container need to be light tight?

  • yes, roots don't like light.

  • u kno wer i can get net pots

  • thanks weekly how much solution do u use or when?

  • np problem there cheap they are long and usually blue they look like a toblerone bar kinda lol there awesome for ur plants and creating co2

  • the air stone fizzers are only 5.99 and up a bit from petsmart its worth it trust me

  • ah, i see. the 7 inchers were the largest my local store carried. There's another petco accross town, maybe I'll go check it out, thanks for the tip!

  • oh yah btw u should switch to a 12 inch fizzer air stone instead of two 7 inch airstones the co2 is barely dissloving into the water nutrient solution its just evaporating into the air wasting the gases u need might aswell just take it out its not really doing anything upgrade to a 12 inch or 24 inc air stone fizzer

  • I'll look into that! Unfortunately, I'm currently limited on funds, and the plants seem good & healthy, so I'm sticking to what I have.

  • nice little set up u should check out my 5 day old plants i just posted a new video go check it out

  • oooo cfls...and last but not leat do u "need" a fan?

  • YES! especially with the cfl, they put out more heat than the HID lights. I currently have a pretty small fan, maybe 8", running continuously

  • good shit serioulsy! but when do u know to add more solution in monthly??? can fluorescents work? how long is the pump on per day?

    thanks

  • I just fill up every few days, using the ratio instructions on the nutes. Normally 1-3 gallons. I think there are quite a few grows using cfl, but you want to do your research so you get the right lights. google "cfl grow". As far as the water pump, i only ran it until the plants had a decent root system, then I removed it altogether.

  • Really nice videos! PLEASE make weekly videos, so I can follow your grow week by week!

  • Thanks! posting weekly was my plan, unfortunately my video camera took a shit, and like I said above, I can't afford anything right now. Hopefully I can trade for one soon. :(

  • hey i like your set up allot, looks like you did your research and picked the smarter idea rather then dropping 100 on thatstealth hydro kit thing. the only thing that im not sure if u no or not is i dont think u have quite enough light. what you have now looks good until those clones get a good root system going but i suggest you look in to a 250w-400w metal halide system. they will run you a good $200 or so but they putout 2x watts per lumen than CFLs. u will get a lot more bud. goodluck :]

  • Thanks! I think I'll try to get some better lighting next grow, but for now I'm much too poor to upgrade. I currently have a 150w hps & a 65w cfl (real, not equivalent). I've also done some LST so I can keep the light down close to all the budding sights.

  • What wattage is the air pump?

  • not sure the wattage, but it's 200gph

  • is that weed plants

  • yo i would watch out with the drip on top of your rockwool. i put mine under the rockwool so its sitting right ontop of the end where water is coming out. if you keep it the way you have it you run a high risk of stem rot and i have seen people have that kind of watering system and get that way to much. and i warned them too but they didn't listen. i just dont want to see another good set up and nice clones go to waste!!! so switch that shit up bro...!!!! hit me back in a email if you want!!!

  • Thanks for the tip! It seemed like a bad idea, but I'd seen other grows that had it. I'll definitely move the tubes. I'd also planned on taking out the water pump system entirely once the roots get down to the water.

  • u really dont need the water pump at all man. the cuttlings in this vid are definitely rooted already. u just need to bring your water level up to the bottom of the nets and keep it there, and the roots will grow down to it, guranteed. i usually wait until i can see a couple roots coming out, but i hav transplanted them before with out any trouble too. good setup tho man.

  • Looking forward to watching it grow... Im also learning and your vid is good..

  • Glad I could be of any help. There are a couple grow sites that I got a ton of info from. Google "how to make a bubblponics system" or something, ton of good info!

  • im planning on making my own hydro setup similar to this, ive never done it b4 obviously and i have no idea what the difference between seeds and clones are? care to enlighten me?

  • I'm not an expert, this is my first grow, but the difference for me was ease of access. There are a few places to buy clones where I live, but I would have had to order seeds from seed banks overseas.

Growing wise, with clones you know the genetics, there's a %100 chance you'll have a female plant, which is what you want. Also, if everything goes smoothly, you cut a few weeks off growing time because you skip the gestation/seedling period.

hope that helps a little. :)

  • hey a clone is a clipping of a "mother" plant, that is put into rockwool after being dipped into rooting gel. a clone is a lot weaker than seed. seed you put right in rockwool and it sprouts and roots itself. you can either germinate the seed or just plant it. i germinate but totally up to you. you can find info on that on the internet but yeah i hope that helps you with the difference of a clone and see. FYI - i grow in a bubbleponics system and am harvesting in 2 weeks just started flushing :)

  • Hey, it's about harvest time for you! Good luck, bro.
