yes.. it's beautiful in boracay... i've been there when i was young... and that was before a lot of people knew about the place... lols.. i'm pretty sure it's crowded now and it has changed within the years.. i've also been to puerto gallera?? i'm not sure if i spelled that right, but it's nice there too..
how safe is it to travel within the philippines now? i was there in 1999 and the atmosphere was a lil forboding. how did you get to and from manila? did you have a private guide?
I think its saver now than it was 99, especially boracay is very save and nice place. I flew to Amsterdam, and then directly to Manila (KLM). To Boracay there's an 1 hour flight from Manila.
Unless you want to go to the south (like Mindanao) a guide is not necessary ;)
