@iamtherandomer yea go to 5:36 of part 1 and watch it there is no edit

@iamtherandomer No, no one died. There was only one injury that occurred during the making of the chariot race scene and that was a cut on the chin of stuntman Joe Canutt (son of legendary stuntman and Ben-Hur second unit director Yakima Canutt) when he flipped over the chariot and hit the shaft attaching the yoke to the chariot.

@EclecticMuzik88 comment cont'd - The footage of Joe Canutt flipping over the chariot was kept in the film (it's when Judah's chariot goes over the wrecked chariot) and then they cut to a medium shot of Judah/Heston climbing back into the chariot. My source is VERY reliable, it's from an interview of Charlton Heston done by TCM host Robert Osborne...
