@786baqi Recessions are inevitable so long as you have a fiat currency and therefore a centrally-planned economy. The central planners (Federal Reserve) engineers the monetary incentives to benefit their friends and they ride the wave until it collapses. The recession is the liquidation of the malinvestment. Preventing recessions, depressions, and even the wars that they spawn requires sound money. RP predicted the '87 crash, not just the '08. See RP explain it: youtube.com/watch?v=9FmlsK_nJKU

You are badly mistaken. For one, he supports economic freedom. Second, he is what Republicans USED to be. Look up Calvin Coolidge. Look up Robert Taft. Look up Barry Goldwater. Modern Republicans lost their way a long time ago - Ron is trying to steer the Party back to its roots.
@RileyE104 Ron Paul is Ron Paul. He is not a democrat or a republican. He is a man who believes in freedom. A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for freedom. It is not a vote for a democrat or a republican. I hope you understand this...
@AlphaMale593 He is what the Republican party USED to be...Ron has my vote and I am a DEM. If he doesnt get the nomination then I vote Obama. Many Dems feel the same way so id rethink ur perception of him before calling him a dem as if that is a bad thing. Conservatism gets a bad name cause people like u who arent old enough to remember past 20 years
@jesse7037 yeah ive done more research on him. Im only 18 so youre right. Conservatives have changed from what I've learned in history classes. and whether he's a Dem or a Rep it doesnt matter. I consider myself right in the middle. but im like you i might vote for obama if he doesnt run. and that is if i decide to vote at all
@AlphaMale593 It sucks because many republicans will overlook him because they think he isnt "conservative" enough. I think if he got elected it there would be real change. But what would happen if Bachman got the nomination and asked Ron Paul to be Vice Prez? I would die a little inside because other than Ron Paul, none of the other nominees to me seem like worthy opponents of Obama. Paul would challenge Obama even in debate...would be great to see.
@jesse7037 Well thats why i dont think he'll get far in the elections. like you said he's not conservative enough like the other candidates. and a majority of republican voters wont like him. He has a huge obstacle.and I completley agree. I mean I dont hate obama. I dont think he's a bad president but no ones gonna beat him out. By the looks of it Mitt Romney will probably win the primary but thats about it. I would love to see paul win the primary though. It'd be a great election
@jesse7037 So you are going to vote for Obama because you don't think Ron Paul would win? That is some pretty warped logic. Vote for the candidate that would actually do some good for the country and not bury us in more and more debt. If everyone was saying "well I'll vote for the other guy because he wouldn't win" then of course he wouldn't win. Ron Paul needs all the votes he can get and a WHOLE lot more people are paying attention to him now that the economy is in the trash.
@imbarisaxy No I love Ron Paul and will vote for him if he gets the nod from the GOP as their prime nominee. I like Obama too but I LOVE RON PAUL! Read my previous comments before commenting me.Save me time and aggravation.
@AlphaMale593 He was an independent for a long time when the Republicans started on this ridiculous direction they're on. I think he went back to the Republican side because a) his limited government stance is somewhat consistent with republican idealogy, and b) it's difficult to even have a chance to be elected president as an independent. But you'll see he disagrees with Republicans almost as much as he disagrees with Democrats.
I disagree with ron paul on a lot of things, but I appreciate his honesty. He is consistent in his libretarion pov. thats for sure. I do find it a little silly when he said we should have called pakistan and had them pick up bin laden, or getting rid of the CIA.. I find that naive... But a lot of what he says about less govt, in really every sphere public and private life, is right on !!
@sabbfan24 : On Pakistan.. All he's saying is we should respect international law, or else we set a precedent that for other countries to ignore it as well. Furthermore, he's been criticized by people saying he wouldn't have went after bin Laden.. That's just not true. A President Paul would have caught OBL much quicker, seeing as how he wouldn't have gone into places like Iraq. Also, he would have utilized the Constitutional tool of 'Letters of Marque and Reprisal' - look it up.
@RileyE104 I agree, if you would have told Pakistanis (like myself) that we know where OBL is there would have been MILLIONS of Pakistanis willing to bring him in for just a million dollars. The thing I like about the American constitution is that it addresses human behaviour and human desires which are true in New York or in Abbottabad.
RON PAUL 2012!! ALL THE FUCKING WAY I KNOW HIS POLICIES almost 100% and they all sound good and on his views arent bad across the board to some people a bit well ok not bad but yeah RP 2012!!!
@RileyE104 The need for income tax is not to support government. The need for income tax is to cover the debt caused from the creation of our FIAT currency. While I agree big government is a huge problem, our monetary problem is much more grave. Ron Paul's top priority is solving the nation's monetary crisis, in doing so, he will scale down our federal government, but not until he solves the problem of money value distortion.
Ron Paul is right!! Lottery pays schools, traffic fines, tickets pays cops, gas tax pays roads, car registation pays DMV, hunting fishing licence pays rangers, on and on, get rid of the IRS alone saves tax payers, don't invade the wrong countries and stay there after you kill thier evil leaders etc!! We are over taxed, over regulated = crappy economy!
I believe that Ron Paul is the ONLY honest political possible we have. Republicans and Democrate have'nt put us any further in this country. Different label, same agenda. We need some honesty and rational thinking. I guess if you feel like you need to scrub yourself down with comet, perhaps that's because the truth is dirty..... !

Herman Cain is the former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, he praised the TARP bank bailout (seriously, google "Herman Cain praised TARP" if you don't believe me) and he has said that auditing the Federal Reserve is a "waste of money" because they have so many internal audits (lol). Anyone who thinks Cain is a genuine Tea Party guy needs to wake up.
i really hope Herman Cain gets the nomination, he's the only one who came off as a normal person. i can't listen to Ron Paul without afterwards feeling like i need to take a shower with comet.
Well at least you are honest that you like big government Republicans. He praised TARP and doesn't think the Federal Reserve should be audited. If you honestly think this guy is going to work for "We the People" instead of the banks and corporations, you are nothing short of a fool and deserve to have your money and freedoms taken away.
@KegHound86 So, Ron Paul (the guy who made the most sense and wants to ACTUALLY follow the Consitution) didn't sound like a normal person as he politely spat in the face of stupidity and the people who contradict themselves all the time? He had a great sense of humor, made valid points on how liberals are wrong, and was enthusiastic. Go ahead then, take a shower in comet. Don't forget to wash those insides with bleach!
