if u a sure it is a comedy. Look around. Do they have to curse, say or act such violently just to make fun? Does Mr. Bean do that? Stephen Chow(Ten Fi)?
If the audience have their voice heard, they may change their altitude...
Anyway, many thanks for your intention of sharing fun...
it is a comedy, most or all of cambodian people love it..i get the point. I love Mr. Bean(Rowan Atkinson) he's the best comedian to me besides Mr.Bean..you don't know that culture makes it different, why don't you question people who do not wear cloths? why do they do that? cause they were born this way, they were educated by their elders that way..just like this comedy..and hmm i live in US, and i used to live in Cambodia.
A u sure most of Cambodian love it? All people love comedy. But in this case maybe there are very less choice.
Popular magazine published a survey asking Koy and Krem which one is preferable. Most say Koy. Y? Koy doesnt use or use less violence even verballly. This shows they hate violent comedy but there is no choice.
In Japanthe comedian also use some kind of violence 2 but not as intrusive as they do. I ve also met many people finding it shocked.m also a cambodian n know Khmer culture...
it's not about who acts. Koy and Krem all have been acting violently in every comedies they play..it's just Koy does not act as much violence as krem..but what's the point of less violence and more violence? they're all violence. Many american comedies don't use violence, because people laugh at what they say..In cambodia, without violence or alittle violence Khmer people wouldn't laugh..if you're cambodian, imagine koy and krem go on a stage and try to act funny without all the screaming
@zfOrGIvInGz american comedians are wayy violence than khmer, they go up on stage swearing and talk about killing and smoking and ripping on other comedian all the time,. american comedy is not even that funny. knock knock?? that is the stupidest joke that's ever invented. and dont even get me started on the gay chuck norris jokes.
and act violence, people wouldn't laugh at all...i am speaking because i am one of them..and from what i see, unfortunately, it's true. And that doesn't make us(cambodians) bad either...we were born this way with this way to watch comedy because of the actions in the show. And, i don't believe it'll ever change the "violence" thing. BUt i hope there are less violence and less bad words for the future. You should understand this if you're one of us.
@seserak dude why are u lieing. magazine my ass . just because u dont like a krem, it does'nt mean that u can go around lieing like this. u dont know shit about khmer culture unless u live there.
