  • Oh my gosh, I want one!!

  • adorable!

  • This is at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, just south of Brisbane, Australia. I was there also in Jan. and held a Koala also, it was the highlight of my trip! The same woman handled the Koala "Crumble" that I held. It was amazing and only cost $16( w photo) that goes to build habitat for Koalas. I was like others, I couldn't wait to hold one. Unfortunately it's illegal to hold one in NSW(Sydney) and they're restricted to only 30 mins at a time before replaced w another and have every other day

  • Yep, that's a lucky koala

  • @mrmrmrmrMOOCOW since the english is above it, showing that it is the main language, wouldn't it make more since that they are in an English speaking place like... Oh, I don't know... Australia judging from the worker's accent, and that they just get a lot of Japanese tourists?

  • WHERE DID YOU GET TO HOLD THIS KOALA?? it has been a dream of mine to hold one!

  • @TheBeemarie223 if you pause at 0:11 you can see that under the english instructions they are in hiragana and some kanji, therefore this has to be somewhere in JAPAN!

  • Beautiful smile

  • This woman has perfect teeth AND she gets to cuddle a koala!

Some people have all the luck!

  • Please wait....Loading cuddle...

  • i dont know why people call koalas bears, they dont even look like it!

  • Nothing is awkward with Koalas

  • I loved that green pole. xD

  • Let's all be happy and enjoy the video now

  • "Long awkward hug" should never be used in the sentence when mentioning Koalas. Are you effin kidding?

  • Koala is like I don't give a shit, just feed me.

  • @LuluPhil99 yeah! Because it's really annoying when they get called koala bears! They are simply koalas. Cute, cuddly koalas :) (that sometimes make strange noises and sleep..alot)

  • shes lesbian!

  • amazes me that she is so busy posing talking, posing doesn't seem that interested in the Koala. My focus would be on the bear.

  • Awh! I just melted.

  • Koalas are not bears they are marsupials!

  • @weareatrandom Did you know that that fact is the number 1 things that ticks most Australians off?

  • @weareatrandom

i dont think thats even a word

  • @Molo19 Look it up.

  • @weareatrandom Look, almost everyone knows that Koalas are marsupials, or at least that they're not bears. But they are still called Koala "Bears" because they look so much like teddy bears that explorers first thought that they were distantly related. There are lots of other animals like this: Prairie Dogs are actually ground squirrels that "bark", and Guinea Pigs are cavies, not pigs, that are sold as meat in other countries.

  • @ForeverKokiri With 18 thumbs up and one person who didn't even know marsupial is a word, it would seem this still needed to be said.

  • @weareatrandom Marsupial isn't a word that comes up in conversations often, and not everyone on YouTube has English as a first language...

  • @ForeverKokiri The person who made that comment seems to have a fairly good handle on the English language. I learned about marsupials in 3rd grade. Has the education system really gotten that bad? Even still, there's educational channels. People just choose to be ignorant these days.

  • @weareatrandom And the Honey Badger is not a badger ... what's your point?

  • @weareatrandom No! You don't say! Oh goodness gracious! Really!?

  • @weareatrandom - kind of like an orca or killer whale even though they are not whales, their names lie.

  • @weareatrandom THANK YOU!!!!

  • @weareatrandom Most probably the people who "discovered" Koalas named them like that because these creatures were new to them, yet reminded them of bears, which they already knew, and the name just sticked. It's like with the Russian word for bats which can be translated into "flying mice". Long ago people thought they were just winged rodents. Nowadays everyone knows that bats aren't rodents, but the name's sort of "traditionally" used ;)

  • @ReiuShanra Bats ARE rodents. Look it up.

  • @weareatrandom You're either a troll, or you slept through all your biology lessons :/

  • @weareatrandom they can still called Koala Bears..it's perfectly correct! She's obviously not Australian and like Wikipedia says"Although the koala is not a bear, English-speaking settlers from the late 18th century first called it koala bear due to its similarity in appearance to bears. Although taxonomically incorrect, the name koala bear is still in use today outside Australia". so yeah.. I'm quite obviously bored out of my mind...-.-

  • i want 1.

  • Are they as fluffy as they look?

  • stupid
