Metaknight is broken. If that word doesn't work for you, then extremely cheap also goes, and yes, it is boring to win with someone who takes barely any skill to beat most charatcers. If you know anything about the Pokemon metagame, it's like allowing players to use Ubers against OU Pokemon. The only reason this person won was because that Metaknight was plain bad. Metaknight also has no disadvantaged match-ups. He has advantages versus every character. You're in denial.

really bad metaknight, he woudl stay at the edge even after invulnerability would wear off. all you gotta do with mk is just let go and go back on and you get invulnerable again, this strategy dominates olimar

Gratz on using Olimar, I absolutely love him too :D I'm surprised though, usually meta-knight users are the ones that give me the most trouble. If they keep using his B-moves, your pikmin don't stay on him, plus you can't throw your pikmin from the sides to stop him... nice fight!

WOW great olimar echo. 1:34 was NICE i can do that good with ivysaur's (pt's my main)b-up because his b-over always hits them off, but with olimar, i really got to practice using down-B to get a purple in front. Oh a quick tip with Meta Knight, though I'm sure you already know it. Some of the bigger characters can certainly kick him out of his tornado, but olimar unfortunately gets raped when attempting that. If you attack from above the tornado with a simple Daerial, you seem to knock him out completely without taking damage.

I know Meta Knight is a great aerial game character, but with Olimar he really doesn't seem to have much game in the air. Olimar is just sexy

Ugh my bro plays Olimar and the only character I can beat it with is Meta Knight and only sometimes. Olimar is probably the best character in the game. Only thing that balances his insane power is his terrible recovery.

beautiful recovery against edgehogging. but, you don't know how to keep the pressure on. with MK especially, the pikmin bounce right off of him. you have to be aggressive for these types of opponents. grabbing more could really help. i like how you use the up-smash, i never get used to doing them, because of its range. you should play me with your olimar...ha.

To throw pikmin, I think you use forward b

All of his smashes throw them, but they don't latch on, they just make contact and run back.

B-up (special up) is that awesome chain thing.

But the actual THROWING of the Pikmin is side-B.

I think he purposefully threw the Pikmin, because you can see him re-ordering his Pikmin while in the air. He chose a purple Pikmin, which has a shorter throw distance, and used that to get Meta Knight off of the edge. :)
