Screaming doesn't damage if done right. A friend of mine told me she went to Melissa Cross a few years ago. She's got a nice tight vocal fry going on. Girls can actually scream with a lot less effort than guys because the tone's for girls are closer together.

Without going into too much.. Screaming is 2 tones at once, one high fry and one yell underneath. As long as she yells in tunes that she's familiar with, she won't trash her vox.

You got to remember that Flyleaf has been touring for almost 4-5 years straight with very little breaks in between. So Lacey's voice was COMPLETELY damaged by the year 2008 from constant touring.

Actually, finding out large bands with major records shouldn't be too hard to find, Dragon Force has had a record label for almost a decade, but everyone wasn't into the music until Guitar Hero made them a fan.

Sure, Bang Camaro, who the fuck heard of them before Harmonix put them in their games, they're a pretty decent band.

It just makes the band a trend, not someone you'll enjoy listening to, and they'll be wiped clean from your minds by the next GH game that doesn't put a song with them.

its not only thatt its the fact that they are in an enclosed space. Its hard to control the sound of your voice with screaming in the background and also the electric guitars playings. its like when your at a concert and the music is very loud you cant hear yourself talking. Thats why concerts in enclosed spaces dont sound so good
