Whoops! haven't been on here for a while... YES, I USE TRIGGERS! on this vid it's an old Alesis D4 running through a very old P.A, hence the strange tone. Also I use Pearl Masters Birch shells with quite high head tension and virtually no muffling along with Damnar carbon contact pads so theres a lot of natural punch there too.

Where are you from Matt? I was drumming for Through The Ashes out of Clarkston Mi last spring. We did a showcase at the Emerald theater, and the promoter pulled me aside, and said i needed to audition for b.d.m. I turned it down though. Had I'd known my fiancee' would run off with her co worker, I'd have auditioned!
