I still watch this video at least once every couple of days. I wish I could have an actual HD version of it; it's that good. Anyone who has watched the series I recommend this to, and so far, all have loved it. The chronological order is also just so great to see.
Wow! You did a wonderful job condensing 6 years of a brilliant show into this beautiful video! I was emotional watching this. Who would have ever thought I would miss Ben Linus as much as I do?! You made me want to do a rewatch of the entire series...tonight!
Only thing I wish is that along with Faraday, Charlotte and Lapidus, Miles' arrival on the island had been shown too. Great vid. Love Lost. This is great!
@strz321 good eye because I grabbed everyone's arrival from that episode, I almost used that shot of him showing up and waving a gun around to establish Miles when they all arrived but instead I went with Locke shoving the grenade in his mouth just because it was a bit more exciting.
@BigAl6ft6 Thanks for the reply. Dude, this video is awesome. I've watched it about ten times since I found out about it two days ago. Great job!! Yeah I would have liked to have seen the miles arriving scene because that was such a huge episode in my mind. But other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. It's so good I probably wouldn't change it at all actually. =P Have you watched "chronologically" lost?
this video is amazing! one of my favourite parts is, near the beginning, when mIB is on the black rcok with richard, and the line goes "You and the devil." And it shows MIB's face all dark. Just amazing! LOST influenced my life so much.
And I missed one: when Jacob and his brother were ...7? yr 7. I got the year 1 and 41 from people who read the script for "Across the Sea". The rest was in the show explicitly, or the pieces were there. (Like when Desmond went back in time in "Flashes", we heard Charlie playing the "gunna be the one who saves you" line from Oasis's "Wonderwall", which was popular that year in the UK--where they were from--and around the world. The fact that the line pertained to Charlie...was just good writing.
@greyeyed123 I think MIB and Jacob were meant to be 13 in the first half of "Across the Sea," not 7. And Mark Pellegrino (older Jacob) said that in the 2nd half of "Across the Sea," the year was meant to be 43 AD.
@BigAl6ft6 And the year Ben first met Richard was probably 1972 or 1973, so I missed that one too. If we extrapolate that the actor was 2 years older in season 5 than season 3, it is reasonable (and unproblematic for the story) that Ben arrived at the island in 1972 and met Richard shortly after that. It also gives that nice round number of 20 years between the time Ben arrived on the island and helped kill off the Dharma Initiative, lol.
@estibin I didn't make the video. I'm just a poster of notes like you. And I did miss that year, and a couple others. People have corrected me on this board. Anyway, LONG LIVE LOST! lol
i love lost so much. its very amazing how you put every single scene in the right place. i am going to watch this a thousand times. thanks for making this vid.
Oh yeah, my favourite part is the opening. You condensed Across the Sea into 20 seconds and it's still easy to tell what happened in that ep compared to the 40 minutes we got.
This is so amazing. Especially the part where the plane breaks apart. It's weird, when you think about the show, how everything in the first 2 and half minutes (Ish) happened in the final seasons of the show, and it was so important to the first seasons of the show.
Who knew Lost and Anberlin went together so well?
Love this. The way the intense middle section lines up with the on-island story, with the flashforwards and return fitting in to the mellower ending third... excellent. And the way the lyrics match up around Jacob's death is fantastic.
This is truly one of the best Lost videos of all time. Almost perfectly done and brings back memories of the best television shows of all time. Just awesome.

epic, the only way it could have been cooler was if the video was 8:15 long

I'm pretty sure Locke turning the wheel was after Richard came to the island.
sevenalive 11 months ago
@sevenalive nope. Locke turned the wheel while the statue was still standing. Richard's boat arriving on the island is what destroyed the statue.

I had fun naming the years. Year 1, year 41, 1867, 1954, 1956, 1974, 1976, 1977, 1987, 1988, 1992, 1995-6, 1996, 2000?, 2001, 2004 Sept., 2004 October, 2004, November, 2004 Christmas Eve, 2005 Jan., 2005 October, 2006, 2007... Unsure about the Sun/Jin wedding. I'm saying 2000.
