The sound is bad in the Target Center. Especially back in 1998!

This was a very good concert though! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

You guys were saying that Alpine Valley 2003 was the best, and you are right. My all-time favorite concert...so far.

Yeah, man. This version is on thee "The Kids Are Allright" concert movie. I was at this show in 98 and was totally floored. Also, I think this is the first time Porch was played with a slow intro. Maybe not....

Yeah, this was my first pearl jam show, and i had 4th row floor seats between ed and mike.

I've seen pearl jam 23 times since, and that was the best crowd for any concert by any band i've ever seen. Those that were there agree.

23 times?!? i am so jealous it's insane! Did you by chance go to the "Ice Bowl" in Alpine Valley? It was in October, Supergrass opened and it was about 34 degrees...amazing set, amazing band.

I was at the "Ice Bowl", and yeah, it was awesome. One great thing about that show was that since you could see everybodys breath, the security could not tell who was smoking...cigarettes of course.

The Alpine 2003 show was better though.

i was there too, the only year i lived in Madison. they said some Sparklehorse was supposed to open though so we didnt' show up early and missed Supergrass. i smoked too much and don't remember sh## though. darn that was a cold shot. god bless pearl jam.
