  • My favorite song ! <3

  • This turns me on.

  • The Chorus paints a disturbing image in my mind. Just imagine opening up your skull and having a mini Thom Yorke inside..

  • my computer stalled 20 seconds into this song... brought tears to my eyes

  • i think if this song doesnt give you goosebumps there's something wrong with u

  • Jefferson Airplane and Radiohead.

Two of the greatest figures for LSD and Music that have ever lived.

  • this song depresses me so much... and i love depressing music. this is just... amazing.

  • feels good man

  • after this album the pop is dead

  • Ok computer, you have done well.

  • best album

  • Climb up the wallllll AHHHHHHH! xD

  • Prolly my favorite Radiohead song, either this or Let down.

  • Not heard this for a long time, it's outstanding, even more than ever

  • Easily one of the most disturbing songs I've ever heard. This song actually makes 'No Surprises' sound upbeat as a following track.

  • I think significant parts of this song are about the guilt or shame that comes with murder, weird fetishes, mental illness, etc.

-also, Radiohead is a great band; Metallica is a great band; they are completely different genres, and comparing them is like comparing apples to oranges.

  • @stephenieduncan Yeah, it seems that this sone is about trying to get things out of your mind that shouldn't be there. I think those bad ideas are trying to escape the mind by "climbing up the walls" inside the skull. But yeah, you're pretty much dead on about that.

  • @stephenieduncan apples and oranges are both acidic fruits.

  • @TheKhaibear Metallica

  • Is there a cleaner version? It sounds too groggy and messy.

  • @Larvemannenz001 It's supposed to. It gives you the feeling of incompletion and panic.

  • @Larvemannenz001 That's the point, though..

  • How amazing is that key change at the start of the chorus. SO MANY CHILLS

  • @Galfadez Totally

  • i think this song relates to israel's segregation wall, some of the lyrics give a hint

  • I am a metalhead but I love Radiohead. They are great! They give me something that no other band can. Sorry for my English

  • @imbfoeticide pink floyd

  • @imbfoeticide I'm the same as you, dude. Your English was fine by the way

  • @imbfoeticide muse

  • @imbfoeticide um...dude, your English is perfect :D

  • One could easily interpret this song as from a boy's point of view that suffered sexual abuse in early childhood.. The most important feauture of this song is that its open to any feeling, interpretation or appreciation.. Thanks for the replies!

  • The song is actually about living next door to an insane asylum and constantly being afraid that the lunatics will break into your house. But who cares? Why not just interpret it how you want instead of sticking to one view?

  • its sad and sorry that this world is cold and murder happends, this would be a fucked up theme song to justify it.

  • Radiohead at their most violent and beautiful!!

  • @TheKhaibear Yeah we know

  • The song is about the mind of a serial killer. Look it up. If you want to know the meaning of any of these songs, you can look them up.

  • @ebrazed1 yea, Thom said he wrote the article after reading a newspaper article about serial killers and insane asylums

  • Any decent interpretation laying behind this wonderful song?

  • @plagueheart666 it's about insanity I think. Thom Yorke is singing about an english town with a lot of mental patients breaking out of institutions. That's where the lyric "lock the kids up safe tonight..." comes from.

  • sounds like 'Lamb of God', by Marilyn Manson.

  • @WARTORIOUS Is it a conclusion you got or you just read it in some random web page? because I also listen to marilyn manson... both songs are great but have nothing to do one another.

  • The lyrics are from fears point of view I think.

  • i can't skip ok computer without first listen this song

  • @MagoGabriel I can't skip Ok Computer. End of.

  • amazing

  • 4:00 This scream...

  • Thumbs up if you agree that The Best Album is: Ok Computer

  • @luisluichi2 And Hail To The Thief.

  • @luisluichi2 tied with kid A, bends and in rainbows

  • @luisluichi2 I thumbed this up. I also agree that every other album is their best album o_o

  • @luisluichi2 Hell no fag

  • @luisluichi2

The Best Radiohead album, most definitely. One of the best ever recorded, yes. But, to make an overall statement like that? No, thanks. That demotes all the other great fucking albums released throughout the history of time.

  • Creeps.

  • Scariest song, ever.

  • listen to the fuckin lyrics.. this isnt a song you wanna bump in your car at night.. this is the most frightening shit i've ever heard.. what the fuck is goin on in that eerily captivating head of yours thom?

  • @Johnnys1700 .....from my own experience, when I'm detoxing, I fucking blast this into my head as loud as I can.... Helps with the withdrawals.

  • I can't wait to see and hear them this summer! Radiohead is on the top of my list of bands I want to see before I die.

  • arsalan is a fat faggot

  • thanks to god for radiohead on the earth

  • I'm both marilyn manson and radiohead fan... I think a place in the dirt has nothing to do with this song. Both excellent songs btw.

  • This is a creepy ass song!

  • Inutile, per quanto possa adorarle tutte le loro canzoni, questa rimane e rimarrà la mia preferita.

  • I only made one comment about Metallica the rest are just responses to the people freaking out over my comment. I was just voicing my opinion. btw your english was not so bad. see ya.

  • Those damn alien insect sounds

  • 3:08 - can you say badass?

  • @partyman147 go watch naruto.

  • some mention that terrific scream at the end. I've got a question : did Thom ever screamed in any other radiohead studio song ?

Please tell me if I'm wrong, but I don't think so, no. That's why everyone remembers this particular (one of my fav) song ^^

  • Very spacey song, it makes feel as though I am going through the void. Thom's voice silences the world around him, OK Computer is an album unlike any other both beautiful, ominous, lonesome and dark. I have always loved Radiohead as a child listening to album like Hail to the Thief and Amnesiac. I was when I was 12 years old when I got into this album and it changed my life forever, it is still as memorable as it was back then and it will always be there when I need it.

  • Sweet music.

  • dat scream at the end....

  • RADIOHEAD at their most violent and beautiful.

  • Best song on OK Computer.

  • OK Computer stll the best album ever created... Sounds like 2012... 2022, 2033... What happened to them :( They lost their soul geez.

  • I was actually hoping this would be somebody climbing up a wall?

    I officially hate Radiohead.

  • @TehJamsiJK Go watch Spiderman. ._.

  • eyes wide thats how it happened on the corner..

  • thumbs up if you're here simply because you like radiohead.

  • thumbs up if ur here bcuz of the AHS Tate/Violet video!!!<3 this song

  • Facebook creepers national anthem.

  • This song is supposed to represent an asylum, right? Very well done, I've never been in one but this song has a sense of anxiety and being trapped. Scary, but in a bizarre, good way.

  • 4:01 that scream...

  • The meaning of the song makes it even more frightening in an amazing way.

  • easily the best thing ever made

  • We can all agree OK Computer is their best album.

  • @shadowlink2000000009 With out a doubt

  • @shadowlink2000000009 No, we can't. It goes Kid A, then The Bends, then this.

  • @TheEnchantingWizard1 Kid A was good though.

  • This song...I just love the sound at 0:12. Its said a lot but i NEED to die to this song.

  • does anyone else get goosebumps?

  • pretty much every song off OK Computer is fuckin' epic. including this one.

  • Nothing but love for this song scratching nails up my boys back to this track right here

  • @MultiMmmmms Because when you get to be "rich and famous" either wants to use you or treats you like a god, when in reality, you're a person too.

I bet they don't have very many real friends left other than themselves, which is in itself an increasingly depressing thing.

  • @MultiMmmmms what are you talking about millionaires, yes they make their way and have a bit of run-off on the side but they aren't famous enough to be rich. When they decided to drop record label funding they brought in a lot less money, but either way it was a good decision

  • @legodatabase Do you realize Ok Computer has been cited by many music critics as one of the best albums ever created? and they've sold 25 million + albums...

  • @liligman I'm surprised your standing up for an album you clearly said was depressing, I enjoy every bit of music they've produced from the beginning and forever, all I'm saying is even for the people like me (and you?) who fucking love Radiohead to death anywhere from every 3 out of 4 people haven't heard more than one song by Radiohead

  • @legodatabase What?... You're saying that 75 percent of people who love this band have only heard one song by them? Explain please

  • @ComboLeafster i've answered all questions and proclaimed myself wrong, but it seems like not one person within ten miles of me likes/ has heard of radiohead

  • @ComboLeafster Its kinda true.. Kids these days only listen to one or two songs by an artist... Albums are outdated i quess?

  • @legodatabase Dude, Thom's net worth is 45 million! If that's not rich then what is? He's certainly not the 99%.

  • @myironl77 ok, ok I will put away my attempts to be right to admit that I might be wrong (that pun was intentional) I guess i could've answered MultiMmmmms comment differently, sometimes I just like to believe that Radiohead does it for the music not for the money.

  • RADIOHEAD at their most beautiful and vilolent.

  • Dear god how can you dislike this?

Stupid musically ignorant fools, go..go listen to your factory made pop or whatever...

  • @JebadayaSmith

how can a subjective opinion be ignorant..

  • @JebadayaSmith Oh god! Someone else dislikes something I like; I better insult them to make myself feel better!

YOU are the ignorant fool. Musical taste is subjective.

  • call me sensitive or whatever u like. but doesnt matter how much time goes past, from 3:05 - the end i always get red puffy eyes... ... sometimes even a tear.. damn.. so emotional.

  • why wasn't this in a Spider-Man movie?

  • @jamarco31 for this movie better a hanah montana song

  • Sorry... Who Comes Here & DiSLikEs

  • Anyone else think zombie movie when they hear this song?

  • You'll only see my reflection...

  • I love that Radiohead are one of the few bands who don't whine and bitch ( Like metallica ) about their stuff being on YouTube. I'm sorry metallica should'nt be mentioned on the same page as true artists.

  • @TheKhaibear that's funny, because metallica has never done this.

For the record, radiohead are against persist piracy

  • @TheKhaibear And I love how people can't be open-minded and like both Metallica and Radiohead, it's hilarious xD

  • @jevimetal13 I do like Metallica. But Metallica is a bunch of winey greedy money grubbing pussies. But their music rocks.

  • @TheKhaibear A whiney greedy money grubbing pussy can't make art? I'd say they made some seriously good works back in the 80's, no matter how immature you say they were

  • @jevimetal13 They absolutely can make art and many do being whiney, greedy etc...And yes, Metallica did make great music in the 80's,seriously good works but I still say they are a bunch of pansies. Besides man it's all opinions anyway.Right? Rock on...

  • @TheKhaibear I think radiohead is brilliant don't get me wrong, but so is metallica. Fuck off.

  • @Museisneat1234 You should be in your 9th grade math class instead of surfing YouTube. Go study.

  • @TheKhaibear they don't have to. their fans are the whiniest bitchs on earth when you tell them that thom yorke farting is not art.

  • @Sage80 I love Radiohead like mad and I think that they're a hell of a load better than Metallica but your comment was so good, true, ahahahahahahaha

  • @TheKhaibear also, metallica have sold a record.

  • @Sage80 Congratulations, you idiot. You ENTIRELY missed the point of his comment. Did you even take the couple of seconds necessary to process what he said - that Metallica is a whiny piece of shit? Because they are. He didn't even necessarily imply they're bad.

Also, you forgot to mention that Metallica is a blander than rice without water. Now, if all you're going to do is ride your generic band's cock, please go do it elsewhere - especially if you have the cognitive skills of a 5 year old.

  • @TheKhaibear It seems like Metallica bitches about a lot of things, like how "dumb" of a song "Peaches" is. Have they even heard their own entire "Load" album?! It's complete garbage!

  • @dandaily4 Yea, 'LOAD' is a really a bad record. I do hope the band realizes that. Take care

  • @TheKhaibear AND OASIS AND DAVID BOWIE ALSO

  • @TheKhaibear

"I'm sorry metallica should'nt be mentioned on the same page as true artists."

Stop being a sterotypically pretentious internet-age music "fan" and just enjoy the goddamn song.

  • @Mbk606 I did enjoy it but I stand by my opinion. Take care

  • @Mbk606 agreed man

  • @Mbk606 I don't know man. I mean, it is Metallica.

  • @ziegogoboy

Yes. The guys that did 'Orion', the music video for 'One', 'The Outlaw Torn', the S&M concert, and provided the backing for Lou Red's recent shot at opera. I fail to see how constantly turning out quality material over the course of thirty years all the while branching out and enjoying one's job isn't artistic.

  • @Mbk606 Technically Hitler was trying to give Germany back to the Germans, and I think he enjoyed his job. Just sayin'.

  • @Mbk606 what's so wrong with metallica?

  • @blackhorse099 they're sellouts and do it for the money.

  • @Mbk606 well said. i told my friend about radiohead one day and within the next two weeks she had a tshirt, the entire discography, 2 posters, and bashed any other artist you would mention. it was kind of hilarious.

  • Comment removed

  • @Mbk606 Agreed. It's no wonder Radiohead fans get stick for being pompous, pretentious and 'holier-than-thou' when there are a few like that.

  • @TheKhaibear i am not a Metallica fan, but why are you doing this? If you hate Metallica, Just keep it for yourself...Radiohead are progressive-alternative rock...Metallica are thrash metal...FOR WHAT THE FUCK REASON YOU MENTION METALLICA HERE????? sorry for my english

  • Depends how you listen to it....I suppose.

I absolutely love this one.I find it a monument among radiohead songs. The drums are hectic, the voices are chilling, the bass is sweeping away the angst along with some edgy guitars, the climax is saturated with never ending underlying or overflowing tracks sweetly mixed, the overall melody is dangerous, the noise is there. And when you listen closely, you do get the pressure.

  • @Velvetspoonful seems like you're missing a space bar when you really need it ..

  • psychodelic and nostalgic

  • Don't ever trip on acid with this song playing. EVER.

  • Don't ever trip on acid with this song playing. EVER.

  • Is this anyone else's favorite song on OK Computer? It's definitely in the top 3 for me.

  • @MEYERS3000 what are the other two????

  • @falcon15ism Exit Music (possibly my favorite Radiohead song of all time) and Lucky.

  • @MEYERS3000 My vote is for Exit Music

  • I think this song is sexy, I don't see it as scary at all...

  • Super Doobies by the Onion

  • Sure thing this is some smooth dour music

  • i love that song..

    memories..

  • This is a scary song...

  • Turn off the lights, lay in your bed, put your headphones in, close your eyes and listen to this song. Freaks the shit out of you, especially the end.

  • Fuck I almost forgot this song existed. Thank god I found it today.

  • this is so ambient... just listen to this while your walking in a ghost town and its winter time. fuck

  • Doesn't this song reminds you "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka?

  • @link9x ALT1040?

  • Doesn't this song reminds you "The Metamorphosis" by Franz Kafka?

  • i dont really have a favorite radiohead song. I can come up with maybe at top 15. This one is definitely on it. So Creepy yet so beautiful.

  • As seen on:

    Meow

    WHAT?

  • i love this song because it sounded a bit Curish...kinda remind me of the song Fear of Ghosts...Phil Selway even said that they were influence by the gothical mood in this song when they were recording the album...(it was in the Jane Seymour's mansion, The Cure also recorded WMS in here)

  • Jesus Christ! his scream at 4:01 is overwhemingly mind-blowing!!!!

  • @UnholyRenton never listened to that.. 4:01 & heart just blowed

  • brilliant

  • Radiohead were touched with gothic genius in this song, It's like listening to a Francis Bacon painting.

  • Uness you put your faith in religion, your beauty/charm or a small circle of friends, we have to create our own hope or end up screaming, loudly or quietly. Something of progressive rock like Pink Floyd, sure, but with a real , fractured, rawness and skewed sensuality. 3.32-3.42 is heartbreaking because it's a bit of soaring hope but changes in to becoming distressingly fraught from 3.45. Thom's screams at 4.01 are genuiney tearjerking, and like a malfunctioning machine the song fades away.

  • Crazy good song to smoke and trip to.

  • @Sm0kindro YESSSS!!!
