@JoseLR325 It's from the original idea of Captain Marvel, he is a kid until he says the word of power SHAZAM, which is an acronym for the 5 Egyptian gods that give him his power. Solomon being one I forget the rest but I hope that explains it to ya.

@radditz17 Actually the figures he has the powers of are not Egyptian gods. Solomon is a figure from the Bible. Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury are all figures or Gods from Greek Mythology though Mercury is the Roman version in Greek Mythology he is known as Hermes.
