wow the remake is amazing. while i like the originals drive, the new versions relaxed pace and undistorted guitars are very appealing and give the song a kind of sad feel. the old version also felt tragic, but with a hint of loathing and anger

Although the old version isn't bad also, I do prefer the new version, as a band grows, the music does too. So a remake is supposed to be an improvement on the original one, something they actually accomplished. Diru eien ni!! [Diru forever!!]

I love the old version so much. And in the new version, Kyo's voice is seriously the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.... He really sings his heart out in the new version and It brings me close to tears. <3

i like the original version better cause you can really hear the anguish in his voice while in the remix, like much of the other songs on ouroborus, it seems a bit too whimsical for the lyrics.

Wow, what a huge difference! The new one has a lot more depth to it; the singing is more "heartfelt" as others have said, and the guitar sounds so different when its played in that distinctly "Eastern" Uroboros style. The original is still better for your straightforward rock needs though, I think.

O rly like Dir en Grey, kind of my favorite band in the world... but i've never understod why the music made ppl Cry. i know all song lyrics and ofcourse i think they are sad and stuff. But this "Remake" whas so beautiful, i din't cry tough! but it made me VERY emotional. Great Remake!

Holy shit, the new version owns. Kyo may not be splitting octaves, but this one is so much more heartfelt in his delivery. And the band creates a more organic, warmer, textured sound. I guess I don't miss the pre-Kisou days anymore.

god, i love the bass line in the remake. i prefer the original, though, mostly for the one verse with two of kyo's voices singing in different octaves.

The old lyrics were sort of as a person watching what was happening, and the new one is told by one of the 'main characters'. The new music arangement(is that what it's called??) sounds really good too. I'll enjoy both versions of this song.
