If you are not particularly fond of artists using any drugs you should as Bill Hicks said "Go home and burn all your records because the musicians who made all that great music that enhanced your life throughout all these years were real fuckin high on drugs" All drugs has their own specific downfalls, evidently, but most of the great musicians has used some as a creative tool nevertheless.

Nobody aspires to be a drug addict, people aspire to be good musicians, and thats exactly what his fans see, a good musician. stop being so narrow minded and look past just what the media force into your mouth. You have to look past the drugs and acknowledge the soul and the talent that is Pete. I just hope he kicks the habit before the habit kills him,many good artists failed to do just that and ended the last tour in heaven :)
