Kobe is still very athletic and agile. I mean age and injuries become a factor to his "reduced" speed and agility but Im sure Kobe can still turn on the jets and play at a higher athletic level when he wants to. Plus he doesnt have to do so much now a days.

no, no way. His jumpshot hadn't been so good yet. He scored mostly on drives and points in the paint, just like LeBron these days. He wasn't as smart and didn't pick his spots like he does nowadays. And Shaq's presence provided him with extra space that he don't gets these days..
