The Pointed Sticks drummer in the film is Dimwit (real name Ken Montgomery) and he was also in other Vancouver bands DOA, the Subhumans, Modernettes, Frank Frink Five, and the Four Horsemen from the USA. Out Of The Blue was shot in Vancouver, around the same time as Ladies & Gentlemen the Fabulous Stains!

I just got through watching Days of Heaven.  Linda Manz was mammoth, so I googled her and found this - very cool!

who was the pointed sticks drummer who appeared in the fils? (the sticks changed drummers at about the same time the film was being shot. or so i have read.) whoever he was, the stix drummer gives a good performance in the film without uttering a word. he had presence and character and he was able to project these qualities on film........
