Not as good looking as the Transperth B series. I'm curious, does Brisbane have any underground sections, and do the doors pop out to open on those trains?
@welcomebackcommander - Central, Fortitude Valley (formerly Brunswick Street), Toowong and Ipswich have all been built over, and are practically underground stations now. All of Brisbane's and Perth's electric multiple units were built at Walker's in Maryborough, Queensland, and Brisbane's IMU 100s and 160s and SMU 260s have external plug doors like the Transperth B series.
I live right next to train tracks... cant wait till these replace the current trains... hopefully they will find trains that can replace the REAL loud diesel trains.

why don't you move away from the train line? it was there first.
also these won't be replacing the old trains, just adding to the fleet. those EMU's (old ones) have another 10 years in them yet...

Ooh, at least 10 years! They havent really had a major overhaul as such! I can see the EMU's running in 2030!

they will be replacing most of the express trains that DO stop at yerongpilly and loganlea i caught 161 the other day >;P
