YOU START AS A PIKER AND YOU BUY THE FARM WITH EFORD AND HART WORK OR BETER GET OUT THE I.M.F OF YOUR COUNTRY....GET EDUCATED STUPID

  • Well thats actaully a good point you got there "viewsonic878"..... there are ways that you can stop them and their chocolate... I MANAGE TO STOP KIDS AT MY HS TO STOP EATING CHOCOLATE FOR A LONG WHILE BEFORE THEY GAVE UP..... THEIR ARE MANY ORGANIZATIONS THAT HELP DONATE MONEY TO THE FAMILIES IN AFRICA THAT CAN'T AFFORD EDUCATION,FOOD,..ECT...I FORGOT THE NAME BUT THE COMPANIE I USED HAD A SYMBOLE OF A RED HAND...

  • ok so now lets stop them from making money the only way they know and call it a day !!! great but hay how are they going to make money know you solved half the problem now they are going to starve to death because they can't make any money ... so since you care so much how are you going to make it so they can make money for there family's the dark side of chocolate is is u !! they got to do what it do to survive . why don't you find a way for them to make money instead ?????????????

  • fwiw, criollo cacao trees don't grow in Africa. So most "fine" grade chocolate usually isn't made of beans from these plantations. But keep in mind that many chocolatiers don't actually make the chocolate they use in confections -- they get it elsewhere and may blend it to their liking.

  • @mychocolategypsy i dont actually get what u r sayin but children r taken to harvest cocoa pods for little money for a debt somtimes that they probs wont pay off ever they use machettes to harvest the pods and open them for the cocoa beans that r psrayed with dangerous pesticides they r at risk and big companies buy the beans like hershey and mand m. but there is fair trade where farmers pay workers so they can eat and stuff look this up at the dark side of chocolate the long 1

Did u enjoy the video? did it come out ok with the music?

  • Cadbury and Mars have recently made a commitment to ending child slavery in Africa by buying Fair Trade. It's mostly a Hershey's problem now, so I dont know if the images of Nestle or M&Ms are fair. Would you mind telling me where you found those images of the kids working?

Check out the "Free the slaves, don't buy Hershey's" page on facebook. "Like" to commit!
