I cant believe my ears. This is my favorite Dave song. I am a long time DMB fan of about 12 years, been to 30+ concerts so i have heard them alot. You with out a doubt sang this better then Dave does. You voice at the end of the song put chills up my spine as does daves. But you have a better rang then he does and sing SO IN TUNE it's increadable on the high notes

You know I've been playing for roughly 25years and singing, I'm not a big DMB fan (he is a good artist and entertainer) but, and this is a big BUT....I never felt any personal emotions when he sings this song but you my friend made chills run up my spine. Absolutely spectacular!

I gotta be honest...unless you are trying to put your own spin on it, there is just something not right with the cord when you start the first verse (and the subsequent repetitions). First you should be in drop D tuning...second, you should have the low E (now D) string open and be strumming 3h5 on the A string. And at the beginning of the verse be strumming 4th fret on the low E and then 5th Fret on the E. You are doing some funky flat cord that isn't remaining true to the song..great vocals

He is playing the chords correctly. He has a slightly different feel than the original (more funky) but his chording is essentially the same. The song's roots are D, F#, G which is what he is playing.

Joe besides the intro and the 442 power chord and 555 bar chord the part where your playing the middle, the high pitched hum, you start it by strumming a basic D chord and you also play something else looks like your index finger is on the third fret of the b string, can you tell me that chord please :D I just can't seem to figure it out, right on! and thanks

Its some sort of a G chord, i am tuned down to D rememebr I got 2 fingers on the first 2 strings on the 5th fret 1 on the 4th fret 4th string(g) and 1 on the 3rd fret 5th string (b) I think thats the part u are asking, let me know
