I agree with you Bret. I know MANY people who used to live in Iraq before they moved to Canada and their memories in Iraq were great. They always said it was a safe country and they totally hate what's happened to it after US invaded. Sad reality. With the Iraqi control finally starting to be restored is the security getting better now? The western media likes to say it is. I don't believe that. I have friends in Iraq who say it IS better but still quite dangerous.
