  • Anybody catch the joke Chico made at 1:54? You wouldn't have known this was prerecorded had he not put his hands on his lap.

  • 1thing is for sure, they're all dead. and we will be dead soon.

  • Reminded me of Tom and Jerry lol never gets old

  • "haha beatchya there"

  • 2:53-3:01 Don't I wish it were that easy lol

  • Don't worry @trilceOOO I am also in love with him. (:

  • is that 'ain't she sweet' he starts playing at 1:25? sure sounds like it :)

  • @MsMonsha The song is "When I Take My Sugar to Tea".

  • It helps Chico (along wth prodigious talent) to play with the technique that he uses, that he plays his pieces in either C Major (no black keys) or F Major (just one black key). Makes playing piano less complicated.

  • starting at 1:20 is my favorite! so cool!

  • 1:25 haha great part.

  • OMG i'm in love with him..is it bad?

  • @trilceOOO nope. im in love with groucho lol totally normal lol

  • @trilceOOO if you don't have a problem with being in love with someone who would be 124-years-old, then no!! XD

  • sounds a bit like when i take my sugar to tea.

  • anyone who appreciates good music must be envious of chico. i know of no others who can play piano like that who or has as many good songs in his/her repertoire

  • @MelonHeadFilmz that an he's so animated while playing. if you're only hearing the music you're missing half of the fun :D

  • @dylad

    Amen, bro'.

Back then you had to sell it to the folks in the cheap seats!

  • @MelonHeadFilmz Watching him made me want to learn piano, just so I could play like him. Then, when I finally learned some piano, I realized I would never be able to reach the level of his talent. Never. I don't think anyone ever will.... Lol

  • I LOVE this!! talent and humor! brilliant :D

  • I've always meant to ask a muscian, "What's the one Chico plays that goes da-da-da-da..." but I just found the answer: the first part is "Pizzicata Polka" (look up this film on IMDB.) I found Gracie Allen singing it on the radio, 4/03/1940. ("Hey, that's the one Chico played!") The second part of the medley is "When I Take My Sugar to Tea."

  • @jkfan2005 Make that Pizzcato with an "o".... apparently it is by Leo Delibes, but J. Strauss I and II each wrote pieces with the same name. And I meant to say look it up on Wikipedia (IMDB is sparse concerning the music in Monkey Business."

  • The "polka" Chico plays is from the opera "Sylvia" by French Composer Léo Delibes. The second part is as is said.

Mr. Delibes was well-known in his day. His best-known opera is "Lakmé", which has the famous aria "Légende du Pari" ("Bell Song") a staple in the coloratura (soprano) repertoire. From that opera, the "Flower Duet" was once used by British Airways in its commercials.

  • piano shred lol

  • does anyone know the names of the songs chico plays during his medley?

  • Good to see Zeppo.

  • It is funny :) How this piece is called? Does it is his original arrangament?

  • what program did you use to capture this scene?

  • @20sn30sFTW

Its called Snapz Pro X (Macintosh Program) and I used Quicktime to compress it.

  • oh. i don't ahave a mac, so would it not work on a windows?

  • The way he plays... it's almost impossible to match that sound with such... ease!!

  • heh heh beat ya!!... hahaha these guys are the definition of comedy!!

  • Classic. He's an amazing piano player.

  • Ha, Beat you that time.

    priceless.

  • hahahha harpos gota good hiding spot

  • I recently praised another video (French) for the sound quality - this is good, too.

What a fantastic stomp Chico kicks up at the end of this piece.
