Definitely pioneer plt. Cant you hear Captain 'Pyro' calling the countdown on the det cord, whilst nursing a hangover from the night before ? Only a qualified assault pioneer could manage to do both things at the same time.

@badgerattoadhall assaulted Pioneer, Well thats a Pioneer that was assaulted.

An Assault Pioneer is a specializied Infantry Soldier.

And I think a Combat Engineer is a specialized sapper.

I think that they are very much the same thing. How ever Assault Pioneer Platoons are being Phased out.

I would like to know, does anybody know for sure
