Just picked up his "brother" Swerve, since the girlfriend is sending me Sideswipe. And I can already say I like the figure, but one big complaint is the feet. Why they engineered the car parts to be on the inside instead of the outside just baffles me I guess.

Also, love how they painted Swerve red and called him Swerve, instead of Sideswipe when all us G1'ers know it should have been the other way around.

this figure's main flaw has gottta be the crappy connection between the upper and lower halves of his torso. See how peaugh had to thumb it in a few times to reconnect it even though he barely touched the figure? yeah it comes untabbed all the time.

@Highstar25 my swerve (the red repaint) is the exact opposite, it takes force to peg in and is hard to get out! so instead of a floppy figure mine just has lots of stress marks from the previous owner :(

i have him i cut so much off of his feet so the whells are not comingin contact with any thing so he would roll really good and the blueknee part because the would get cought on any not flat and perfectly smooth surface then i figures out how to transforme him properly and kicked my self in ass for ruining perfectly good to just the knee part thought i wanted to cut the feet

Sideswipe is really hard to find around here...and this problem with it standing up, if you don't fold in the little tabs that become his heels, he stands up quite well. Also, does anyone else have a bit of a problem with the lower torso/legs not staying tabbed in to the bottom of the chest? Mine doesn't stay in too well.

human alliance sideswipe is i guess a more size accurate figure compared to like leader prime he cost as much as a leader class but people say hes not as good as like the human alliance bumble bee but i would recommend the deluxe one he might be hard to stand but when you get him to balance he is a cool looking figure.

I just got it yesterday, and I recommend him with every ounce of mind. He is quite easy to stand up, to see, look at the sideswipe update video peaugh has uploaded. That will explain. But his car mode and robot mode are awesome, especially the blades.

ya know whats funny?, when I went to the Movie, their was really no obvious and good clear scenes of Sideswipe in Corvette mode or Robot mode, So Most of the people in the Theater, including myself, had no idea who he was, and so we just thought he was Jazz brought back to life. and we Didn't even Notice Jolt till the scene when he Helped combine Optimas and Jetfire.
