  • KX4 is only 120 lumen with a 3 battery light, it is more efficient than the p60 that is why it is brighter...

  • does anyone know if you can run the KX4D (crenelations) on the G2 series of lights? Surefire says it was designed for the 6P series... but arent both lights the same head size?

  • any modes to the head?

  • @stompySharpNpointy No. This is a single mode, 120 lumen LED head...

  • how much is it

  • @FABAIN50CAL The KX4 retails for $52, but you can find them cheaper than that if you look around...

  • While the KX4 is nice and all, it's already outdated. SF should have come out with it in 2008, or 2009 at the latest..

Next month they are coming out with the G2X and 6PX Tactical models. Both will put out 200 lumens, with the G2X having a retail price that is only $13 more than this head. And that includes the entire light, not just the LED head.

And then later on they are coming out with the two-mode 'Pro' versions of these lights. The KX4 is essentially the HD DVD of flashlights....

  • The crenelations on the front also let you know if the light i turned on while standing on its head, by 'leaking' lights'. My pelican 7060 mentions that as a reason, btw great thrower the 7060. Thanks for vid I have a lot of G2s and quick using them as brighter more efficient LEDs have come out but with these heads can bring a couple back into service. Thanks for review.
