Futhemore MMA was crushed by Huk (0-2) and got smashed back to Code A in Up/Down match in GSL May.... lol while MVP pwned Huk 3-0 in GSL August Code S.

Could please don't compare MVP to MMA....? It's shameful to MVP.

The only reason MVP lost MMA is that he only slept 3 hours before the gsl final October and played "real" match ( 8 intense game ) vs the toppest player in the world invited to Blizzcon (mOOnGlade/ToodMing/Select). He must have been tired and not in good condition at that time.

This is how you beat Mvp, who excels in macro games and will crush you with his macro is you go for an early CC - you 1 base the fuck out of him until you get enough of a lead to drop your own CC and contain him.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that you need to be in the advantageous side of the imb spawn positions on Taldarim Altar... Even then, it takes a good 22 minutes to fully finish him off because his macro, micro, and decision making are OUT OF THIS WORLD.

Come on guys. Terran is as balanced as can be. I play terran, and i never win. That does not mean that Terran is underpowered, just that something close to everyother player out there is better than me. If you absolutely want to nerf something, nerf South Korrea.

@filtenborgen Several people have complained about the constant nerfs that Terran has endured since SCII launched mainly relating to reaper speed, depot before rax and blue flame hellion damage nerfs, basically as soon as someone comes up with a slightly cheesy yet very effective strategy Terran gets instantaneously hit with the nerf bat, if you ask me Terran isn't OP or UP but they sure are hard to play at the higher levels.

@Sh1v3rZone Ye. I could understand why some people would say that Terran is OP, but that is only if they are allowed to macro (imo) that they become able to kick extreme amounts of ass. That being said, I am no expert, and only have a few wins in the silver league (1v1) and 30+ in 2v2, i just feel that through Terran you get such a varried game with so many opportunities like the MMM, the marine/tank and of course the various kinds of drops you can do for harrasment along with cloaked banshees.

@Sh1v3rZone Well you have to understand that Blizzard wouldn't nerf Terran just because somebody came up with some "slighty" cheesy strategy. Terran got nerfed because those strategies gave the Terran too great of an advantage. e.g. When rax could be build before depot, players would almost always do reaper harass and would sometimes win the game with just reapers. And IMHO, I think that Protoss got the worst nerf (just saying :P) and blue flame nerf isn't that big a nerf.

@snoozingaznkid Obviously not, they nerf Terran because they found that strategy to be over powered in specific situations, I am just unhappy about the degree that they were nerfed, reaper rushes were made impossible by the double nerf to the depot before rax and the reaper speed. They also severally nerfed blue flame hellion, by removing 5 dmg it now requires one extra shot to kill a worker giving the opponent significantly more time to react and counter.

However, I will still stick to the fact that the depot before rax was much needed. As for the hellion nerf, I cannot say for sure why they nerfed it now; however, why would you get 1 blue flame hellion to 3 shot the worker when you can get 3 hellions to one shot it (lol)?

@snoozingaznkid Cost efficiency mainly, plus the 3rd shot gives about 1.5 seconds extra to react. Depot before rax was an OK nerf but I agree they may as well have removed reapers from the game.

You could balance it perfectly by making every race identical, maybe just spiceing it up with some different skins, but that would leave it pretty darn boring. In addition to that, if you keep on nerfing one race, the others get indirect buffs. If you nerf everyone, at some point you would reach status quo again.

@filtenborgen you are right. it is rock-paper-scissors. but what i dont understand is the following: before the last patch protoss sucked against terran and ZvT was more or less balanced. infestors could decide a PvZ in the favor of the zerg. then they gave toss a minor buff that helps them basically against zerg and they nerfed infestors - so after the patch zerg cant do shit vs P or T anymore and toss cant still do anything against terran. why they do that? first: P-up T-op then: Z-up T-op ???

@keep7smiling What are they supposed to do? Trying to balance the game is a pretty big task, and I think they are doing a great job. Blizzard provides the best and - imo - most balanced RTS on the market at the moment. Maybe there is some race that is a bit better than the other races, but keep asking for nerfs aint gonna help, it's just providing more patch logs to look at, and a twisted gameplay.
