I can remember me and my older brothers sitting around our zenith color T.V. and watching The Green Hornet on ABC. Back when T.V. shows were really T.V. shows! Mutual of Omaha's "Wild Kingdom", Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Adam-12, The Twilight Zone. These were what real T.V. shows used to be people!! Not all this CSI/Dancing With The Stars bullshit! Times were alot simpler then, quality-time actually meant something for families. What Happened? It's pretty sad what this society has become.

I read that Burt Ward was so intimidated he was afraid to touch Bruce Lee in rehearsals.

Whatever the script originally said, I understood that the stalemate was considered early on in rehearsals for the final scene.

I've never read that Bruce Lee had to fight for Kato because a victory by Robin (and Bat over Bug, for that matter) was not considered credible.

After the series went off the air, Burt Ward took up martial arts and became quite proficient, I understand.

My point is..if you make a movie about a certain character, why change him? If you don't like him the way he is, then why do a movie about him? Do someone else. Keaton said he didn't even care if the Batman fans liked him or not. In other words he didn't care if he was authentic to the character. I like actors who try to be the character and stay true to the original. Michael Keaton acts so unsure of himself all the time when he is Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne is supposed to be a ladies man.

I always wanted someone to do a Green Hornet movie. However I never would pick Seth Green to play the Green Hornet. Just like I never would have picked Michael Keaton for Batman. I still don't get how anyone can think Keaton was great as Batman, yet many do. I want my heroes to be like they are in the comics. Keaton was nothing like the comic character. Batman is 6'6" and Keaton is like 5'9''. Keaton looked too old and had thinning hair. He was not heroic looking at all. Batman isn't a goof.
