I was just on the Carnival Magic yesterday and a guest supposedly fell over which she really didn't but when you think about it the comments that have to do with its hard to fall over is true because there are bars walls everything to keep you from being in danger.

I agree. Having been on cruise ships before I cannot see how anyone could simply..fall overboard. There are many safety features in place and one would have to go out of there way to make it happen.....way out

He hit a wave, and fell off the inner tube behind the boat. Ever try to turn around a cruise ship to pick someone back up. Way cheaper to just leave him for dead.

I guess that passenger was not having a good time on the sensation so the passenger decides to go overboard and end up into another ship or most likely that passenger was drunk which this is why I do not drink.

@mattj4226 Usually I would take up for the Sensation (because that was my 1st cruise) but if i knew that if i "fell" overboard and got picked up by the Wonder, I WOULD DO IT!!!

If you are a half way intellegent person that has been on a cruise ship, you would know that there is no way you could accidently fall overboard. I am 6 feet tall and the rails around the ship strike me just below mid chest. I would have to climb the bottom rail to lean over far enough to "accidently" fall overboard. Get the point? No way. Out of every million or so passengers ,1 falls overboard accidently. Nope, they make it happen. Sad but true. Stop blaming the cruise lines.

@starr522 I agree on that. When I was on the Carnival Triumph, all the decks outside everywhere had cameras facing every angle. I bet security monitors those cameras frequently to. The idiot was obviously drunk. I am from New Orleans and during carnival seasons with the highest amounts of drunk tourists, many of them "fall" off the ferry boats. Unlike falling off a cruise ship and having chance to be rescued, falling into the MS river is an instant death ticket. You can't fault the cruise lines.

i was on the cruise on the disney wonder after that incident carnival rewarded disney with a stay in nassau till 2 am thank carnival ;)

It amazes me that most of these things happen to the Carnival ships.....there must be something wrong, even though as in this case....it is not the ships fault.....mother nature, drunken passengers.....but I am sure the ships crew could do soemthing to make it easier on the passengers

1 thing i got to say...why is it every bad thing has happened on the sensation...in september09 a man fell over board then in janurary09 another man fell over board and then now there was a bomb on board the sensation...somethins up with the sensation idk wat

I was on that ship when that happened. I slept through the whole thing. When I woke up my parents said that the boat was turning around and doing circles.

yes i was on the sensation...we all was like wut in the hell is going on...we hear it about 12:30 the lady come on and says disney had recovered the guy...he jumped off cuz him and his wife was arguing and he said i'll jump off and his wife said go ahead...so he jumped... but i am glad they pulled him to safety...at first i thought the disney boat was in trouble because they had got really close our ship

Dang the Sensation was there too and the Disney Wonder in Port canaveral! And those ships are looking for the person that fell of the Sensation! I am glad I am not that person!
