Beast. Music. I recently got accepted into UWG, so if I decide to go, i would love to be in this band. One thing though: 70% of the sound is coming from your trumpet section and the soloist sounded very blatty at 2:39 and 2:53. I assume it was a soloist... otherwise its more than one person relatively in tune. Not a bad show, though. I'm not a fan of dancing bands, but it does have crowd appeal.
no matter what anybody tells you guys, you're a good band, you have your own style which is something alot of bands dont have. my friend plays trumpet in your band and another person i know is in the color guard. im going to jax state (Blow Southerners!!!) but that doesnt mean every band has to be like us, and for the earlier guy who said we werent ranked we were voted 4th in the nation last year. and to the ga tech band, the redcoat band is wayyyyyyyy better than you.
Overall UWG I enjoyed this show. You are going back to the roots of marching band. In D2 bands you are to be crowd pleasers. I know, I went to UWA some time ago. Good Stuff. Its big college bands that lose insight into this. Keep it up!

I am a Georgia Tech student. I don't attend West Ga anymore. i transfered last semester. I DID NOT LIKE THE SCHOOL...Why? for the same reason My father and other transfer students left; the students are to imature. I did not like it. GA Tech on the other hand rules! I love it. The students are more intresting, crediable and polite. I marched for the corps veta in 2004 I taught one o fthe local highs chools and I play for a church in merratia. Thats all your getting. Btw, I never said I was gonna 'beat your ass' nor did I infringe on your constitutional right to opinion. I just wanted to know why we're catching so much shit from you in the first place.

I am from UNA, this show happened when West Georgia came to Florence. Your band is amazing!!! I twrilled from the time I was 7, although I would have done a few other combinations, your majorette was wonderful. True Talent UWG.....can't wait to see your show next year.
The Feature Twirler is Alli, she is amazing and has been twirling since two. She is a freshman and so am I at another school, but she was my Majorette coach in high school. She can twirl five fire batons and not drop or get burned with a double allusion. Her sister is the Feature twirler at UGA three years running. They are both amazing. ALLI YOU ROCK SO AMAZING!

Don't Judge UWG or POD unless you know what the hell you know youre talking about, not just making ignorant statemnets from the stands about two very good bands that both work their asses off to perform a show for YOU, so if you have a problem with it, keep it to yourself asshole
actually i have marched corps. I play drum set professionally,guitar and teach some highschool drumlines...the band is not as great as it could be...thats for sure.
ok well obviously u have your head so far up your ass that you cant see that we don't want to be a corps thats what makes us different and judging by the videos you have on your site your not that great of a drummer yourself and if you think so highly of yourself why dont you come on out and show the line here what you got. if you are as good as you think you are then i would love to see you out there with us but that takes balls and effort two things im not so sure you have.

aliwils8484. noone copies drumline. we are sorry if we offended anyone but we were on the same side as the band so we couldnt hear them. We rarely go to away games so we arent gonna make the trip and just sit there. As for your inept ability to get out of highschool. grow up. i would hate to know that i have nothing else to do but judge halftime shows. we are 2 different bands with 2 different sounds and we both put on a show. the people in the stands liked it which is what matters to UWG.
in high school it's rude to play while another band is playing not college. We play whenever or whatever we want to play. Our job is to support the football team and we traveled 4 hours to do just that. And I could care less if you don't our ESPN. The crowd loves it. You must be bored to sit here and judge a halftime show. Grow up!!!

did someone watch drumline a lil too much? it was entertaining BUT UNA was way better in my opinion.... and no, I am not in the POD just a fan of them! The colorguard could use some help and did anyone ever tell you all that it is rude to play while another band is performing in the stands? I've been to some SEC games and not even those bands were as rude as you guys. Maybe you should consider that the next time you visit a school and not play that slow version of "ESPN" 500 times! THANKS!

I was at the game. UNA sounded really good,i was marching in the Extravaganza that night,and did a great job.
But UWG was my favorite. They had great energy! I wanted to dance with them!
