I think the 757 or C-32 which usually transports the VP, the first lady, cabinet members , and members of congress was used as air force one for this particular flight so technically he didn't step on the plane(VC-25) that is ussually used as air force one but he did step on air force one. the only question is if it was actually called air force one at the time because i think he was president elect when he steped on board.

This has probably already been pointed out here, however....in this vid series by NatGeo, the aircraft we see Barry stepping on to is NOT the "famous" 747 ( VC-25A )aircraft known to the public as AF1, rather this is the 89th Airwing's Boeing 757 ( C-32 ). Indeed, any AF aicraft with the president aboard assumes the callsign of " AF1", otherwise the aircraft would simply go by it's ID number.

Um two things about this video. That was NOT Airforce One for two reasons. One he was not yet president, and two that was not a 747 that was the 757 in the presidentiol fleet. Yes I can the video states that this plane was picking up Obama to take him to DC to be sworn in. This meens that at the time of filming he was not yet Pres hence they can not call this Air Force One Pres Bush was still in office.
