  • nice dude, i love trains too ever since i was like born! even though im american, im still fascinated with british steam railroads. how long were british steam locos in service for? when did they convert to diesel? here in america they did back in like 1960ish so never got to see em in progress

    British steam trains started in the early 19th century. Steam started to end in the 60's and finally ended in 1968, along with many of Britains rail system,

  • so r these in the vid used for tourism or still in some service

  • over here we have many preserved railway lines, which are just a few miles in length, which run steam engines, and sometimes diesel.

    check out the "bluebell railway"

    and "great central railway".
