In my judgment, this issue is being blown way beyond proportion by youtubers. As we have shown, flagging is ineffective as a means of censorship. Righteous claims to defending "free speech" here amount to rather silly, amusing statements.

TJ himself has been censored. His videos were uploaded again by other people... not TJ. They're TJ's vids, but not on his account, being viewed by his own subscribers. So, yes, he was censored and silenced. The OTHERS who re-uploaded them weren't.
If YT deletes his account(s) and actively hunts down and deletes his videos from their site (seeking to purge all 600+ of them), I would say there'd a case here for interpreting what they'd be doing as censorship. This is not the case. His account has been temporarily suspended, that is all. This fits no legitimate description of censorship.
Even something conceivably small is censorship. Bleeping out a word or blurring a tit can be censorship. I would bet that if TJ didn't have the amount of subscribers he has, his account would be gone by now. Removing even one video from somebody else is still censorship. If he had just been suspended temporarily, then that's one thing. When videos get removed for no real reason, then there's censorship.

I do not know when/if I will make videos because I am caught up in school, but I think people should mirror TJ's pwnage videos(the ones he says that youtube have a problem with).
A different thing I did not speak about was the comment feature. The fact that people can comment, and the author might respond is something you do not see in mainstream media. Youtube doesn't give a shit about that, as long as they're making money.

If YT deletes his account(s) and actively hunts down and deletes his videos from their site (seeking to purge all 600+ of them), I would say there'd a case here for interpreting what they'd be doing as censorship. This is not the case. His account has been temporarily suspended, that is all. This fits no legitimate description of censorship.

Even something conceivably small is censorship. Bleeping out a word or blurring a tit can be censorship. I would bet that if TJ didn't have the amount of subscribers he has, his account would be gone by now. Removing even one video from somebody else is still censorship. If he had just been suspended temporarily, then that's one thing. When videos get removed for no real reason, then there's censorship.

Only shouting fire in a theater causes people harm, and it's obviously illegal in the first place. With Youtube, it's like you're allowed to shout fire in a theater all you want... but NOW it's a problem for no apparent reason. Anything that brings harm upon a person is bad -- child porn, etc. I reassert that he has been censored b/c his videos were taken down from his own channel by Youtube. TJ has been censored, but those other people haven't.
