The Penguins deserved to win this series because even though it was very even between the two teams, Pittsburgh was the more focused team and if you blow a 3-0 lead, you don't deserve to move on. The Flyers outplayed Pittsburgh from game 2 through the first period of game 6, but Fleury was outstanding in the series. He was definitely the MVP for the Pens...his stop on Carter in game 2 was one of the key moments of the series, along with his heist of game 4. IMO, the Pens won the series in game 2

Most of the time in any sport, to win a championship, you need a little luck, and a couple huge plays. In my opinion, the two HUGE factors in these playoffs were Talbot's fight in this game, and Staal's shorthanded goal in game 4 of the Cup finals.

there were a lot of them... Pens kept pushing over and over again and while Flyers/Caps/Wings found new ways to lose the Pens found new ways to win. I agree with those two,but I would definitely add Letang's OT goal in game 3 against the Caps up there... also MAF saves on Carter in game 2 and on Ovechkin in game 7. those were impossible saves at key times.
